Hi @JohnLivengood Sorry that you're running into an issue. With 3.0.4? That latest license manager should always be used and will serve licenses from the latest ArcGIS Pro release backwards to previous releases. This is documented in the licensing section of the system requirements: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/arcgis-pro-system-requirements.htm#GUID-245D6E43-4BA2-45BF-8CE0-39753107F700 For Pro 3.1, it does require the latest version of license manager, as stated in the doc.

@DavidWheelock2 "can it be made so that the user can make this setting persistent across sessions without having to wait for an admin to do it?" >> Yes. Remember that the application management settings that can be controlled by an admin are only exposing options that are already available to the individual user. So in this case, any individual user can just go in and control the option themselves: (Preview from development builds. The UI in 3.2 may be different.) Now... if an admin sets this up a certain way and LOCKS the setting, then the individual will not be able to change it. Does that answer your question? Is that what you meant by "persistent across sessions"?

Hi @DavidWheelock2 You are correct that this (unfortunately) was not quite ready to be released in ArcGIS Pro 3.1. Much progress was made and it is now in a good spot to be fully developed in ArcGIS Pro 3.2. It's in the near-term on the updated ArcGIS Pro roadmap. To pre-empt the next obvious question, Pro 3.2 is planned for the Oct/Nov timeframe this year.

@TomasPokorny check out all of the additional application management settings added in ArcGIS Pro 3.1: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/administrator-settings-list.htm# From the details you shared, I believe everything has been added. @MatthiasKl we're looking into the possibility of adding the start project setting you've mentioned.

Hi @AndrewQuee 3.0.3 is the new baseline for 3.0.x which is why it shows up in that dropdown. You need to go to it first in order to find patches. Other patches such as 3.1.1 (when it eventually comes out) won't show in that initial version dropdown. Rather, you'd go to 3.1 first, and then find available patches under that. It looks like the bug you cite is patched in 2.9.6 so if you need to stay on 2.9, you could just patch. It's also patched in 3.0.4. Since that fix was backported to 2.9.6 and 3.0.4 I don't see how there would be any dependency on Enterprise 11.1. For 3.1, you will need to update your license manager to the latest if using Concurrent Use licenses or Named User through Enterprise: https://desktop.arcgis.com/en/license-manager/latest/welcome.htm Hope that helps!

Hi @AndrewQuee 3.0.4 is a patch for 3.0.3 and has been available for a bit over a week. See https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-documents/arcgis-pro-3-0-3-patch-1-3-0-4-is-now-available/ta-p/1259070 ArcGIS Pro 3.1 is a minor release (i.e. not a patch) and has a bunch of new features and functionality. You are correct that 3.1 rolls up any issues addressed in the 3.0.4 patch (actually, technically, it doesn't roll them up - the fixes are installed first in the 3.1 builds and backported to patches :)) See https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/get-started/releases-and-patches.htm for details on major vs. minor vs. patch releases.

Though we weren't able to get clarification on this one, in ArcGIS Pro 3.1 the palette can be opened/closed with the spacebar as requested in the idea. If there is something not working as expected, let us know!

Thanks for the post, Bud. Reading through that bug and workaround sounds like the problem is intermittent (it is always best to ensure that the steps to reproduce the problem are consistently reproducible and documented, whenever possible). The bug will be investigated to determine the problem and if possible, a regression test will be added to catch the issue. Intermittent issues don't make for good candidates in automated testing, so we'll need to do the bug investigation first. Functionality is already tested, but sometimes specific workflows can get missed - those scenarios end up being reported as bugs, as you have reported here. When bugs are investigated and fixed, if an automated test is possible, it is put in place.

Hi @wayfaringrob what version of Pro are you using? In Pro 3.0.4 I see the behavior you're talking about in terms of not being able to open the palette using the spacebar or enter key. But once the palette is open, I can tab into the colors and use the arrow keys. Can you please let us know what version you're using and if on 3.0.x, more specifically the issue? In 3.1, scheduled for release tomorrow, the spacebar or enter key will open the palette and tab/arrows work to navigate like I am currently seeing in 3.0.4.

Hi Robert, The .insp file type is not currently supported. https://fileinfo.com/extension/insp It sounds like this is a proprietary format, but using Insta360 Studio you could export .insp images to JPEG. You could submit an idea for ArcGIS Pro to support the .insp format. The team could then assess the feasibility, of course depending on what api's may be available from Insta360 to work with the files.
