Yes, Bill.  If you're using the Concurrent Use license model with ArcGIS Pro, once you have converted the Named User licenses to CU, the setup is the same as ArcMap. I think that what is confusing about the documentation you're referencing (which is specifically the Portal for ArcGIS doc) is that it states (bolding options!): You have the following options for licensing ArcGIS Pro: Provision named-user licenses to Portal for ArcGIS members. Provision named-user licenses to members of an ArcGIS Online organization. Implement concurrent-use licenses using License Manager Server. Use a single-use license. So we should see these options, decide we want to set up CU, click that and it should take us directly to those instructions and you'd see that there is no need to set up Portal at all.  I see that the links aren't working, which adds to the confusion - I've submitted a request to fix those links. This documentation would have been more helpful: Concurrent Use licenses—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop  We're working on a more cohesive Pro install and licensing guide that hopefully will make the process more streamlined for anyone, regardless of which direction they're coming from (Named User in ArcGIS Online, Named User in Portal, Concurrent Use, or Single Use).
