No worries, Curtis. The idea is Reviewed. Out of curiosity, though, I went searching to find a quicker solution. I found winapi - Finding the version of an application from Python? - Stack Overflow and copied it into my own .py, pointing the file to my ArcGISPro.exe which is in the default location ("C:\Program Files\ArcGIS\Pro\bin\ArcGISPro.exe") The quickest way I could figure out how to get the magic number is to just run that from the Command Prompt. I'm very far from a guru in any kind of coding so maybe someone out there has an even better way. EDIT: Dan Patterson any ideas on how to make this faster/more user friendly?! Just sharing as hopefully it gives you a viable and very quick (in my opinion) way of getting the Pro version which includes the patch number, without having to open Pro!

Tony Howze and Thomas Colson I followed the steps described in the question above and I don't see the behavior. I was running ArcGIS Pro 2.3 on Windows 10. If anybody on this thread can help narrow this down beyond intermittent behavior it would be awesome. I've asked some others to look too so we'll keep trying...

Hi Curtis! I'm curious to hear more about why you feel a need for this in ArcGIS Pro. For ArcMap 10.6.1, if I search for all patches at any time on support.esri.com, I get 15 results. And in ArcMap/ArcCatalog itself, there isn't a built-in way for me to see what patches are applied. All of this is different in ArcGIS Pro as it follows the semantic versioning specification: Releases and patches—ArcGIS Pro | ArcGIS Desktop So you can always know what patch you have for Pro because it is built in to the version numbering. See FAQ: What are the build numbers for releases of ArcGIS Pro? Above we see that this machine is running 2.3.0 (no patch). We also see under Software Update that this is current. When Patch 1 becomes available, I will see that under the Software Update. If I don't update, I remain on 2.3.0. Once I apply Patch 1, the Product Information changes to 2.3.1. Is there another need you've found for having some sort of "PatchFinder" for Pro? Thanks!

Hey Bill and Kevin Christy. I had marked this as Already Offered based on the "one car" example and the fact that this can already be accomplished with the Explorer style. Since Kevin's response, I've been chasing this around here a bit to find out more. I think that it is valid to reset the idea to Reviewed as the ideal would be to have styles match across the platform. Kevin, correct me if I'm wrong, but my interpretation is that since you see a Safety Health collection of symbols in ArcGIS Online, you would want to have the same symbol collection available in Pro, correct? Or if you see the collection of National Park Service symbols in Online, you'd want to have a National Park Service .stylx to use in ArcGIS Pro. Right? I'll also set the expectation that if at some point in the future these were able to be synced up, it would likely be for ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise, not necessarily ArcMap...

Gabriel, The tools you mention are all overlay types of operations. Check projections and maybe more importantly, are all of the tolerances and resolutions default? Any changes to things at the geometry storage level could cause issues... How are they stored - shapefile, file gdb, enterprise gdb, etc. and WHERE are they stored (locally, file share...)? I agree with Dan on this one - too many things to look into and troubleshoot to make must progress quickly on the forum. But do circle back with what you find out! Cheers

Hi Thomas - thanks for the patience. I've checked in with the dev team and it looks like they'll work to get this fixed in 2.4. Sorry for the delay.
