Hi! I'm looking for clarification on how to use Living Atlas content (Subscriber and/or Premium) in public apps. As an admin for our AGOL org of 450+ users, I often see our users redundantly re-upload and publish layers for their own web map or app use that already exist in Living Atlas. I tried to use the following guidance link referenced above: Use ArcGIS Living Atlas subscriber content in maps, scenes, and apps but it currently yields a "Request Rejected" page (tried a few different computing environments with same result) - this makes me wonder if the approach or policy to use them has changed? As an example usage scenario, several of our staff have been currently uploading their own SSURGO soils data but Living Atlas already has a great USA Soils Map Units layer using SSURGO data - what would it take to let them use that in public web maps and apps instead? Thanks.

It seems ever since new My Esri was released, I've tried to submit Customer Service-related questions/cases via the Ask Customer Service - Submit Request option in My Esri, but it does not work! And seems like it never has worked for me and my admin ArcGIS account despite trying multiple computers, browsers, with or without attachments, etc. It always gives an error message "Unfortunately your request could not be completed" and because of this I've had to submit such requests through regular Esri tech support channels, which seems to open the wrong kind of case (tech support vs customer service), or via email which is sometimes a pain. It would be nice if this is fixed, or if this is unique to me, how can we fix it for me? I've reported it to our Esri Cust Svc rep, but nothing has ever happened with it, thanks.

Our organization requires our users to download and install software that is ONLY under current Esri support, and on the My Esri website, the traditional installers offered (.exe/.msi) are indeed the supported versions only, BUT the ISO format downloads include old unsupported versions (Desktop 10.3, etc.) - can these please be removed ASAP? Why have them for download to all My Esri users if they are no longer supported by Esri? We don't want our My Esri users potentially installing old unsupported versions. We used to curate our installers on an internal server for our users instead, but with the pandemic shifting our work to now being heavily remote, we have many users rely on My Esri to get installers, and they need to be SUPPORTED releases. I've opened an Esri case on this and they say they can't remove the ISO installers for one org, so they'd have to be removed for all orgs - please do so or provide an alternative like allowing an org's My Esri admin to "disable downloads for unsupported releases" or just have them available only to My Esri admins, or by request, or something like that. Thank you.

Yes, it would be very helpful to have easier color style/palette transfer options between ArcGIS Pro and AGOL. Another example, our organization has a branding guide with a bunch of standard colors (RGB) that we're supposed to use, and we've created custom style files for these colors for use in ArcGIS Pro, but it would be nice if there was an easy way to get them into AGOL for all our organization users, such as admin setting, etc. Thanks for the consideration.

Are there any forms of attributed raster layers hosted in ArcGIS Online that are offline-compatible for Field Maps? Specifically, wondering if layers hosted with ArcGIS Image for ArcGIS Online (AGIAGOL) or ArcGIS Server Image Server (AGSIS) provided offline compatibility. Thanks.

Hi! I'm an ArcGIS Online admin of an org with ~470 accounts looking for a script or tool or routine to populate (append) the associated email address for each account to its Bio section so that our users can see this info without being an admin. I use GeoJobe's free Admin tools, but they don't have an option to do this by looping through each account and pull each email address as a variable. I'm new to code-based admin for the ArcGIS Online environment so any leads/tips/explanations would be greatly appreciated!

Correction - rasters served as raster layers in ArcGIS Server map services ARE supported in ArcGIS Online, but no query/identify functionality is available for attributed rasters, and minimal support for them in Open Data. Initially I thought these raster layers weren't supported at all, but then discovered it was because our ArcGIS Server environment is quite old (10.5) so ArcGIS Online doesn't seem to recognize them, but then I tested in another ArcGIS Server 10.9.x environment and it worked. Anyway, hoping for any additional feedback or suggestions from Esri or other users about these type of raster data workflows.

At least for us, the problem was fixed by Esri later the same day as I posted earlier. so at least in this context, it may have been fixed for other organizations also?

I get a sense that this problem has now been fixed on the back end, at least we haven't seen it for a while even while adding new users to the affected Team, but it would be nice to hear from Esri official confirmation if it is still an issue or not?

Our org has similar problems with offline capability and syncing, per our Esri support case analyst, it's a problem currently affecting multiple organizations, so sounds like an Esri issue and not org or user related.

Thanks, so we did the Org switch (Map Viewer is now default instead of Map Viewer Classic) about a week ago, and now our users are unable to take web maps offline that they were able to previously.. this appears to be an Org-wide problem.. any suggested fix (needed ASAP!). Thanks

Another approach could be to create a custom role for your org that disallows public sharing, then you can use that role for all users except for those (admins, etc.) that need public sharing. I think one issue with custom roles though is that Esri periodically releases new role functionality, so periodically you might need to review your custom roles to see if additional functionality might need to be added.

Absolutely needed, this is happening right now for our ArcGIS Online organization but the Esri approach of spamming ALL our users with "Subscription Expiring" popup notices every time they sign is a ridiculous notification approach, at most it should be just Admin user types that are notified (and we also get emails about this, so is ArcGIS Online notification needed at all?). Our government procurement process sometimes encounters unanticipated delays even though we always pay and have been a long time (~25 years+) customer. Please add an ArcGIS Online admin setting to disable expiration notice messages to users or find another solution, thanks.

Hi, our organization has several hundred separate attributed raster datasets, each containing different types of data (vegetation, wildlife models, etc.) that we need to get into ArcGIS Online as public layers, and ideally also shared publicly through our ArcGIS Hub/Open Data site. There seems to be 2 ArcGIS products to help with this, which we both have: 1) ArcGIS Image for ArcGIS Online and 2) ArcGIS Image Server. In testing #1, its dynamic imagery option seems to work best, but public sharing is not allowed with that option (that is VERY disappointing Esri! I guess you want folks to buy and use ArcGIS Image Server to share publicly instead?) and also neither the tiled or dynamic services with #1 seem to work well in Hub/Open Data - no download option is offered for either!? In testing #2 it seems to work best overall but requires a separate image service for each dataset - but doesn't ArcGIS Server (where ArcGIS Image Server resides) have a limit on the number of services it can handle, like only a few hundred? Thus, this does not seem ideal either. We have been serving these rasters as raster layers in ArcGIS Server map services (many separate rasters per service), but they don't seem to be supported to feed into ArcGIS Online? So, unless I'm missing something, there's no good solution for our needs? One other annoyance is that there did not seem to be an easy way to translate the predefined symbology/color palette for each raster into the #1 or #2 service options - only approach I could find was to convert the symbology colors to RGB values and add them as separate R G B attributes to the attribute tables prior to publishing and then the R G B attributes are recognized in the service and will render the colors as default (kind of tedious and difficult to automate). Any thoughts or insights on better approaches appreciated, but overall it seems much improvement is needed with the serving of many pre-symbolized attributed raster datasets in ArcGIS Online and sharing them with ArcGIS Hub/Open Data, thanks.

Is the metadata export option "without sensitive info" accessible via python or some other way to use in batch format? Thanks
