When will single sign-on for Site Scan Manager and Site Scan standard edition flight app be possible using pre-existing ArcGIS/ArcGIS Online accounts? Making this possible will make things easier for admins and a lot less confusing for our users and make workflows much more transparent. I hope this capability can be expedited, thanks.

Our org has a Site Scan subscription and we have 2 operator licenses that we juggle amongst multiple users. Currently we're required to contact an Esri rep to have them change operator licenses between users, this is inconvenient, especially when we have to do it on short notice for emergency response, etc. At a UC session today, I asked about this and got response that a Site Scan Custom Subscription now allows org admins to change who's using an operator license (see attached capture). Is this available now for our org? How do we know if we have a "Custom Subscription" and if we don't have one, how can we switch to that? Thanks.

If a user has an ArcGIS/Esri public account connected to an org's My Esri site for software downloads, they should be able to download/update the software using the "Download Now" button within ArcGIS Pro, but this does not work - currently users instead must have an ArcGIS organizational account for it to work, but this is problematic for organizations who use concurrent use ArcGIS Pro licenses as not all their users have organizational accounts.... please fix this, thank you!

I have an ArcGIS Online feature layer shared only to our org (non-public) that I need to view in a 3rd party app (LandVision) that provides some instructions on how to do so here but I can't get it to work, the instructions mention using "Client ID" and "Client Secret" within the app to access the layer - I've tried using an ArcGIS Online account username/password that has access to the layer for those inputs but it doesn't work. From some web searching, I've seen those terms like "Client Secret" used in the ArcGIS Developer web pages for registering apps to use methods of authentication, tokens, etc., so I'm guessing that's what I need to do, but I'm not understanding which method to use and how to register or set it up considering it is just one layer. I have contacted the 3rd party app support and they mostly just point me to their instructions. I need to keep the layer in ArcGIS Online as org-only as it contains sensitive content that should only be accessed by our org or for users logged into the 3rd party app. Any advice or insight would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I just attended Esri Canada's No Limits: Making Your Web Apps Accessible to Everyone webinar, and they mentioned this and Andy Skinner's other accessible basemaps - can these please be added to the "Esri Default" Basemap group at least for the USA region? I'm an ArcGIS Online admin and would like to make them available to our users, and our Open Data sites via Hub, etc. I'm aware of being able to set up a custom basemap gallery with them as described such as here and here, but it would be nice to not have to do that if possible. I'm also confused conceptually by custom basemap galleries - i.e. if Esri creates additional new default basemaps, I'm assuming they won't get added to our custom default gallery, so we'd have to periodically check to see if Esri has any new ones to offer and manually add them to our custom gallery? Also, if we set up a custom basemap gallery for our organization, is that the same one that our ArcGIS Pro/ArcMap users would access by default when signed into ArcGIS Online? Thanks.

Gordon - thanks for the info. Will the "Fleet Management v2" be included for all subscribers to Site Scan, or will it be an additional purchase?

Do either the Site Scan or Site Scan LE flight apps produce flight log files that can be uploaded manually into a service like airdata.com? I know about the new video logs which are great, but we're in need of just regular flight logs that track flight path, battery status, etc. I thought perhaps Site Scan has a DJI account login within it that syncs such data to DJI's cloud, but can't tell if there is such an option or not. Any advice greatly appreciated, thanks!

I believe the download now button will become enabled if you are logged into ArcGIS Pro with an ArcGIS account connected to your My Esri organization with "downloads" permission enabled (it is not enabled by default). Note for Concurrent Use license users, the download now button can cause problems if your organization is not using the latest license manager software, the download now button may push out the latest Pro release that is not compatible with your license manager..

Seeking advice on current drones and/or related sensors that support the MISB standard in video output for optimal ArcGIS FMV compatibility, particularly drones that are US made, but advice on any brands/models appreciated. I've used DJI drones exclusively and have used the apps to make their video output FMV compatible (DatCon, CIRRUAS), but it is not a complete solution.
Also, I've started a petition asking DJI to support MISB compliance, please consider signing:

Thanks!

What are the steps to configure reference AGOL hosted feature layers to be non-editable but still offline compatible for Collector web maps? For example, if we don't want editors to be able to change the features in the layer, but still want it capable of being loaded into a web map used for reference when offline in Collector? For hosted feature reference data that changes often, I would rather take this approach instead of having to create and update tile packages. In ArcGIS Server, I think I figured this out by loading the data in a multi-user database (SQL Server) and running the ArcGIS tools Add Global IDs and Enable Archiving on the data, then serving the feature service via a read-only database connection so that any attempted edits don't save. However, I can't figure out an equivalent workflow for AGOL... Any insight or suggestions are appreciated, thanks.

Thanks for the feedback, I have heard of this approach also but am unsure how to get started, if anyone has a few quick tips or an outline or code samples in particular it would be greatly appreciated. Does this need to be done in a Jupyter Notebook or could this be done in PythonWin on the desktop?
