Geoff: I have followed your instructions (thank you) and I am still getting the "exportItemId" error message. Might you have any other words of wisdom for this issue?

Is there a way to hide or turn off the Survey123 Connect Excel spreadsheet Comments (see below)? Comment drop-downs interfere with me seeing the underlying cells and is frustrating. This process does not work: Click the File tab, click Options, click Advanced in the left panel, go to the Display section, in the group "For cells with comments, show:", check the "No comments or indicators" option, click the OK button. Thank you

Ismael: Thank you for your insightful response worked for me! I'm sure others will find it useful. We are all new to Survey123 and, I'm guessing, most of us are new to XLSform coding, too. My major takeaway from your response is that Excel formulas can be used in the XLSform that drives Survey123. I am learning a lot by building my first Surveys and I appreciate your Survey123 GeoNet blog posts, Survey123 online help and your personal responses to GeoNet questions. Hats off to you and your great team! Joe

I would like to automatically populate a "Season" text field in my bird survey given a DateTime value in the survey. The “Bird Seasons” that I am using are shown below. In my survey, I already have a DateTime field. Can I use a formula or calculation to grab the DateTime value and pick the right Bird Season that corresponds to the date? Any guidance is much appreciated. Bird Seasons Winter = Nov. 1 thru Feb. 29 Spring = March 1 thru May 31 Summer = June 1 thru July 31 Fall = Aug. 1 thru Oct. 31 Thank you, Joe

My workflow is to bring a hosted feature service (HFS) from ArcGIS Online (AGOL) into my ArcGIS Pro map. In an edit session with in Pro, I add and move points in the HFS. If I make a mistake and accidentally delete a point, the Undo button in the top left-hand corner of ArcGIS Pro does not bring back my deleted point. Question: when working with a HFS from AGOL in ArcGIS Pro, how do I retrieve a feature deleted by mistake? In ArcMap I could just Stop Editing and not save my edits. That does not appear to be possible in ArcGIS Pro. Thank you for your time and attention, Joe

On my Android tablet, the Sign-in window still does not even appear. I get just a blank white space under the green sign-in banner. Tap to open the Survey123 app. Click on the "Sign in" button. In Settings, added our ArcGIS Online URL. Click the orange button to sign-in with my enterprise account. Next window is presented and is blank - no UN/PW entry slots. Answers to questions from Jared Grondin: 1) What Enterprise Identity Provider is your organization using (ADFS, Shibboleth, Ping, etc)? We are using SAML/ADFS 2) What type of device are you using (iOS, Android, Windows Phone, Windows Computer, etc.)? Android 4.2.2 on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Lite 7" tablet 3) What OS version are you using? Android 4.2.2 4) What version of Survey123 are you using? Version 1.7.20 5) Do you encounter this issue on all devices? For example, if you install the Survey123 app on a Windows laptop and try to login using that app do you encounter the same behavior? Signing into the Survey123 app on my Lumia 950 with Windows 10 mobile does work, albeit, slowly and with frequent crashes. I do not have an iOS device to test with. I am able to sign into my enterprise account in "Survey123 Connect for ArcGIS" on a Windows 10 v1607 computer.

If the "feature layer" is coming from an ArcGIS for Server service, you need to go into the feature service properties on the server via ArcCatalog, find the Feature Access page and enable Sync there, too.

Mikayla: You MUST have an editable layer in your map for Offline capabilities and the layers need to be Sync enabled. Add a shapefile or a layer from a hosted feature service to your map. Then make sure editing is enabled for that layer and that "Sync" is enabled for that layer, too. These things can be enabled in the layer's Item Properties page.
