We use SSL certificates from AWS Certificate Manager. These certificates are not downloaded as files and deployed on the servers like other SSL's. We use them with AWS Elastic Load Balancers (ELB). We use the ELB's in place of the ArcGIS Web Adapter. I am now planning a deployment of Portal. My deployment will require using the ArcGIS Web Adapter to support Roads & Highways. I'm curious if there is a way to continue using my AWS SSL's and ELB's as well as the Web Adapter? If not, I imagine I will have to go buy an SSL certificate from a different provider to put on my Portal machine. Thoughts about AWS ELB's and the ArcGIS Web Adapter co-existing? Thanks Mike S.

I am hoping to do this same thing - populate an attribute in my related table using an attribute from the related feature. Also having trouble figuring the logic to do this? Poll feature then Field Enricher to related table?

I've seen some other posts about this issue, but no definitive answers. I'll ask the question again here: Can we use Open Data to make full-resolution source image tiles available for download? I am using an image service, but only ever get compressed versions of the imagery. My image service works great in ArcGIS Pro, though. We'd also like to share LiDAR data this way also. Below is a related post that didn't have a response. https://community.esri.com/message/688272-download-raster-from-image-service-in-open-data

I would like to add in a 5-minute delay to my AVL output for a public snow plow map. We've tried using a filter on the feature layer in the web map: This works fine except we would like to symbolize the most recent point for each vehicle uniquely. I'm wondering if there is a way to build in this delay as part of the GeoEvent service, using a filter or a processor. I've experimented with a few things, but without success. Anyone have an idea on how to do this? Thanks

This is how the feature classes are shown in the Catalog View of ArcGIS Pro: Does anyone know if there is a way to modify this view setting to something that takes up less real estate?

I am not using any ports in my url. This discussion was about the automatic behind-the-scenes http-to-https redirect. We use either http://domain/webadaptor/rest or https://domain/webadaptor/rest. ArcGIS Server is set to HTTPS only.

Not sure. They must have been blocking 443 because it worked on the server itself. Thanks for all of your help.

Resolved. The IT folks were blocking something at the firewall. It's purring like a kitten now! Thanks for your help

Thank you for the detailed instructions, Michael. I actually already had my URL Rewrite rule set this way and did not have SSL settings checked. The redirect is working on the server now, but not from the outside. I will have to check with the IT folks to see if they are blocking 80, 443, 6080, or 6443 outside of the network.

Yes. That was the first thing I did in my process. I've configured ArcGIS Server many times before, but I typically use an AWS load balancer instead of the web adaptor. I can successfully connect to https://<my domain>/arcgis/rest, but when going to http://<my domain>/arcgis/rest, I see the error below: Maybe I have something configured incorrectly in IIS? I have bindings for 80 and 443, with 443 using an SSL cert for <my domain>.

I may be missing something in the documentation, but I cannot figure out how to redirect requests over port 80 to automatically redirect to my https-configured web adaptor. I can currently get to https://domain/webadaptor/rest, but do not get redirected to that url when going to http://domain/webadaptor/rest. I've tried setting up a rule in IIS with URL Rewrite, but no dice. Any advice on how to set this up? I am probably missing something obvious here because it seems like almost any organization would want this to happen. Users can't be expected to type in http:// everytime. Thank in advance Mike

Within our #ArcGIS Online organizational account, it is difficult to know which users works which department. It would be useful if the ArcGIS Online user profile included organization or #department name and maybe a sub-name. For example, a City of Omaha organizational user profile could also say they work for Public Works in the Sewer Division.

Does anyone know if it is possible to copy/transfer GeoEvent Processor inputs, outputs, and services from one ArcGIS Server instance to another? I'm going from AGS 10.4 to AGS 10.5 on a different server. Worst case is that I just have to re-create my current settings on the new server. I just wondered if there is a way to more easily transfer them. Thanks
