Starting with Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) 2.8, the beta version for each release will be available in Early Adopter Community right after Web AppBuilder in AGOL update. So you can test the latest features and enhancements in Developer Edition beta as well as import the apps from AGOL when needed. Currently, Developer Edition 2.8 beta syncs up with the latest Web AppBuilder in AGOL April 11 th update. Click on this link to access the 2.8 beta release. Developer Edition 2.8 has more widgets for 2D apps, including Data Aggregation (beta), Distance and Direction, Gridded Reference Graphic, and Emergency Response Guide. For 3D apps, the dashboard theme and Measurement and Share widgets are available now. Key enhancements have been made to Edit for related feature editing, Legend for choosing layers to show legends, Smart Editor for editing related layers and tables as well as for defining attribute actions, and the statistic layer from the extra data source for a new option of the filter by extent. Double check the operations for ArcGIS Server service as shown below. The Update Features operation does not include Delete. So we will make enhancement to disable Delete button when Delete Features is disabled but not Update Features. In your case, make sure disable the Delete Feature operation when publishing the service. In this way, Delete button on Edit should not be able to delete the feature. A good summary of editing capability at Online platform. The Smart Editor widget will support related table editing in the coming April release, with better UI/UX. Batch Attribute Editor is under our consideration to edit related records, no timeline yet. As for the Edit widget, the delete button should be disable when geometry update is set to false. Jeff, Sorry for the delay due to recent AGOL update. From our understanding, what you really want is to refresh the attribute inspector other than the app. In the recent AGOL update, we added a configuration option so you can click Save button on the inspector to save all the field edits with one commit. To enhance this option, we can provide an option to refresh the inspector if SOI or database trigger is applied when Save button is clicked. This is under our consideration for Match update. As a developer, you may try to do so by yourself. The dev edition 2.7 with Save button option will be released in January. Thanks, Jianxia

Tyson, We are not able to reproduce the issue with dev edition 2.5 and Portal 10.5. To trouble shoot, could you please clarify the feature layer you are using? Is it from feature service, map service, hosted feature service or feature collection? Does it support query capability? When configuring the widget, do you choose the data source from Map or from Extra data source? When do you receive the error message? Thanks, Jianxia

Jeff, Thanks for boiling down the issue. It is not a jsapi issue. We should add searchTemplate="${Match_addr}" to make it come up with human-friendly names for custom geocoder. This will be addressed in the next AGOL release. Jianxia
