I have an established AGOL organizational account with several hundred services and maps that are used daily. Unfortunately, none of the services or maps are secure. IT is working on completely re-vamping security settings for everything (not just maps) and the new company website will not accept any links that are not secure. What will happen to all of the existing maps and services, including any maps or apps that have been saved as favorites on user desktops and tablets, or embedded into various websites, if I make the switch in Server and AGOL to HTTPS? Will I have to republish all of my services? Will I have to rebuild all of those maps and apps? Will I need to track down all those websites and send them new code to embed a newly secure map? Or, will everything automagically renew itself to the HTTPS setting? (please, oh please, oh please, oh please...!!!)

Is there a map-based version of the Photo Survey app? Something similar to the Inspection project in Drone2Map, but that can ask questions and be hosted in a webapp for those without the Drone2Map software? I work for an electric utility, and I am trying to use the images collected by drone flights to inspect or quickly view and categorize poles and conductor. I can take the images from drone flights and stitch them together into orthomosaics, then share and host them via a webapp for linemen or supervisors to then inspect the area for damage. But I would like them to be able to correlate the photos to the map quickly, ie - be able to go directly to a pole or specific area of concern. It would also be nice to have them be able to answer questions about a particular pole, just like in the Photo Survey app. Which leads to another question... What happens to the data collected by the Photo Survey? Can that data then be used to symbolize the webmap to show which areas have been inspected or which poles have been identified as damaged? Perhaps Photo Survey isn't the proper tool to accomplish this task. Does anyone have recommendations for a webapp or similar tool that would work?

I had the same problem in CityEngine 2016.1. Creating a new City Engine project and *not* defining the projection finally allowed me to import data from OSM.

I am trying to learn how to use the GeoEvent Extension for ArcGIS Server (both on version 3.1), and the GeoEvent tutorial keeps referencing a Registered Managed Database. I've read a lot of websites on the subject, but am still confused by the difference between a Registered Database and a Registered Managed Database. Also, I've got my SDE already in ArcGIS Server as a Registered Database. Can I add it in again as a Registered Managed Server? Do I need to change it to a RMS? If I do so, will it break things that I've already got working in SDE, Server, and our ArcGIS Online Organization?

I am not planning on installing Desktop on the Server machine, but rather looking at installing the GeoEvent Extension. All of our Desktop versions are 10.3.1 and we cannot upgrade those due to a software collaboration. Our Server version is also 10.3.1. Does that mean I should install the 10.3 version of GeoEvent?

I've created a project, and now I'm trying to add layers from my AGOL organization to the Dispatcher and Worker maps. I keep getting an error, "Unable to establish a secure connection to the layer." I've seen this error before in Story Maps, and have been able to check a box about http vs. https. Is there a similar box in Workforce that I haven't been able to find yet?

I have an Operations Dashboard with several widgets. The map has the points symbolized by one attribute and the widgets provide a summary of those attributes, as well as graphs and charts of other attributes in that same layer. I would like to be able to click on a bar in the bar chart widget and have the corresponding points on the map be highlighted or selected. How can I make that happen?

I have been able to get the two imported into CityEngine, but the Terrain and Texture keep appearing way above the grid in CityEngine. How do I move everything down to match?

I am having the same problem, even with the latest Photo Survey application downloaded. Craig, what did you do with your pop-up configuration to fix the issue? Chris, I don't see a "path" field in my data table.

I'm updating the map books for the electric utility and have created two different map series in ArcGIS Pro. One for the map grids and another for the developments. Although there was a significant learning curve, everything seems to be working well. However, I would like to put the legend for the entire map book on one separate layout page. I don't want to have a map frame on the page, just the legend. I can only get a legend to show up if I add a map frame to the layout, and then the contents of the legend only show what is in the map frame - not every layer possible for each of the map series. Is this even possible? Or am I going to have to create a legend in ArcMap, save it as a pdf, and then combine the legend pdf with the map series pdf in order to create a single map book?

I work at an electric utility. We have miles of line that get inspected every year. We have invested in a drone and D2M to help with those inspections. I want to be able to have a map shared to my AGOL organization that shows our line and poles, but also a layer of the flight path and photos taken by the drone. The end product would be to allow any of the Operations managers to log on to AGOL, open the Line Inspections map and click through the photos of poles and line in our system. I would also like them to be able to edit the points to show which have been reviewed and which show damage that needs repair. The crowdsourced webapp that the City of New Orleans showcased at the UC and, more recently, the one of the flooding in MS and LA is very similar to what I want to do. Is there a template for that project somewhere? Can we share a service from D2M and into such a template? Thanks, April
