Hi, The issue of the summarization is that you summarizing hidden fields - by default, hidden fields are stored as text.  You need to convert to decimal either by supplying a bind::type column or using the number function.  See the EnergyUsage.xlsx In terms of making your survey more efficient to load, I would suggest changing it in a few places (see EnergyUsage2.xlsx): - as opposed to having every question have a relevant statement (your questions tend to have 5 questions with the same relevant statement at a time), create a group that has the relevant statement only - instead of having a series of select_ones to select the appliance type, use a select multiple per category to select A more radical change would be to use a repeat to fill in the appliance information, as you have the same 5 questions (number, watt per hour, hours per day, kWh, cost per month) for each item.  You could use the pulldata function with a csv that has the typical WpH and HpDay information to load those values when the appliance type is selected.  I'm working on a sample that does this and will upload later. ... Hi Phil, Yes, currently Survey123 Connect and Survey123 must be manually uninstalled and reinstalled with a new version on PC, Mac, and Linux.  The version checking will be coming to Survey123 Connect only (though when Survey123 Connect is updated, Survey123 is also updated and should be downloaded).  At least for now it will still require the manual uninstall/install process.  We are planning to implement automatic uninstallation, but that is still in the future. ... In terms of working with an external document to provide guidance, what is it that needs to be referenced?  If you have a table of values, it seems like it would make more sense to use a pulldata to bring up the appropriate values based on whatever criteria is being looked up. ... View more

Hi Phil, For the mobile applications, updates are handled via the respective app stores.  We are implementing version checking in out next release of Survey123 Connect; after installing that version, you will receive a notification in the area by the version number when a new release has been posted. Hi Bethany, This is can be done with a combination of Collector and Survey123.  To link the two together, you would set the pop-up of the web map in Collector with a app link url as described in https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2016/07/30/understanding-survey123s-custom-url-scheme .  The link can prefill information into the Survey123 form and provide the point location. ... Hi there, Currently there is no ability to customize the printout from the Survey123 website.  You could generate a report by downloading the data and using the mail merge capabilities in Word or create a template form in ArcGIS Desktop that takes advantage of Data Driven Pages.   We are looking at providing making this more customizable in terms of printing as well as e-mailing the survey, though neither have a concrete timeline currently. ...
