Hi - I just installed ArcGIS Earth 1.5 and an issue I always had is unfortunately still there: ArcGIS Earth will only run on the on-board Intel HD graphics card - not on the AMD FirePro M4100 FireGL V A shame - since the FireGL would have much more graphics power. I wonder: Has anyone ever found a solution for that? Others have reported similar (here) - and no - it can not be solved by installing another AMD driver. During beta of Earth 1.x this was discussed (with support), tested and not succesfull and has been the issue since. Drivers are as recent as supported and i.e. ArcGIS Pro runs smoothly on the AMD card - very nice!. Keep in mind though that the same issue arises with Drone2Map - so things point to "Runtime" as the cause. Here it is even worse, since Drone2Map would make use of the GPL for processing - and cant that way. But since there are many individual settings for AMD graphics cards in the control center, my hope remains that this can be solved by adjusting these settings on an application level. Any ideas? Successes?

No it does not. But the context menu in Pro offers selection at any point in time when hovering over the map- drawing a rectangle 🙂

Hi, making use of the Raster Attribute Table ( a rather old concept) would be nice here ... but fails when trying to export it. Based on Xanders code here is a modified version that exports the actual values to an excel file (after writing them to an in_memory table). In addition, the ListRasters has been modified to only read tifs - as in the original question ... AND the resulting table in excel will have two additional fields that reflect the re-classification done in the "classes" variable by Xander. Hope this helps. I added it as a python file ...

Hi, From a 'most recent data format' perspective you should use your DEM Raster as a mosaic dataset (of type elevation, which will be useful in other ways like stretching, ... see documentation). Your boundary shaepfile can then be loaded into the mosaic as just that - the boundary - and you are all set for analysis

Hi Simon, Dont know about the attribution of your points, but especially if there is/are more than one attribute and you want to be flexible on selection, 'layering' and using it as raster or feature to solve your interpolation issue, probably try to convert the data to a multidimensional NetCDF dataset (see help) ... and then use it as a raster layer created from the NetCDF data - this will include your options for setting spacing/resolution and doesnt require the points to be evenly spread to start with. Would be interesting to hear if this works for you. NetCDF is powerful and nicely integrated with ArcGIS nowadays. Guenter

Kevin, the conversation was either taken offline or stopped ... I am curious: Did you solve it? If not: Do you have access to ArcGIS Pro and ever tried to use the new ortho imagery workspace and the workflow to integrate Drone images? See here! Regards Guenter

Hi Aaron, though Timothy is perfectly right, the first question back should be: Why do you want to use MrSID? Which data (Aerials, Elevation, ...) and where is it going to be used on which devices? Yes, it offers huge storage compression ON DISK - but for many uses today questions like CPU/memory use, data access optimization (tiles storage) and general availability are as or more important. Do you want to discuss that? Regards Guenter

In case you check back: If you need this more than once ... think about creating a function template using the raster functions of "remap" and "attribute table", story it as a rft.xml that you can easily edit and reuse - PLUS your data will have a proper legend in the TOC then. Make sure you honor the valuable hints on compression and resampling in the attribute table function description. Feel free to ask if things are unclear. Provide a small sample image if needed. Hi, a Story Map is great as a presentation. To customize and still re-use for other presentations, I'd like to be able to just copy a Story Map and then modify for another event/presentation/reason. I read about the "download and modify" work-around. Yet I'd like to have both versions on ArcGIS Online. Is there a "trick" to probably download/upload or really COPY a StoryMap? Thanks for any hints A few days later and MUCH wiser 🙂 O.k. - I found 2 ways to do it. One is VERY simple: 1) Use ArcGIS Online Assistant and the Copy feature there. JUST GREAT !!! The other one is what I found out myself with some pain - before I learned about the easy way above: 2) Use Python API for ArcGIS and basically copy the data of one object into the content of a previously generated empty object of the same type. But THIS IS a workaround - so forget it 🙂 I'll close this topic

I have a public StoryMap Tour here: ... but whenever trying to make an AppStudio App of it, the created app will report: "Sorry! No photos in this Tour" ... anyone got a clue why this is? Umlauts? ImageStorage at Google (which I doubt since it works as a story map)?

Hi – yes – I am aware of the Oblique imagery widget. Tested it – works well. But what I am looking for is a way to use Drone2Map and its “Inspection Viewer” mode over the web. Drone2Map can upload Services for 2D and 3D results to be consumed in WebMaps and Scenes. It is only the “inspection viewer mode” that can only be used with the desktop version of Drone2Map. No “Web-way” for this, yet. In theory adding the images to an Image Service and publish it to your own server would work “similar” – but when using Inspection mode in Drone2Map the required image information for adding it to an ImageService is not generated by Drone2Map … That’s where the problem starts … Is there a plan to have a WebViewer or widget for that?
