Hi Luis, You mention the user has assignments related to them - what are their status values? Craig

Hi Elle, Thanks for your follow-up question. We decided to clear out the Declined Comment when a Declined assignment is re-assigned for several reasons, one of which being we did not add the ability to Workforce to add to existing Notes or Comments, so we wanted to ensure that it's clear who made the comment when work is declined. The Dispatcher could choose to copy the Declined comment to the Description prior to re-assigning the work; but I understand that may not work in all circumstances. We do have it in our backlog to provide the ability to view an Audit trail or History of an assignment; but that is primarily for the Dispatcher. We also have it in our backlog to add Comments style to the Notes and Declined Comment fields; but as with customizing the Status values, we do not have that work scheduled on our roadmap. Craig

Hi Elle, thanks for your question on Workforce. Workforce does not provide the ability to disable or remove Assignment status options. The request to do so is in our backlog and I've added your information to it. However, the issue is not currently scheduled in our roadmap. Craig

Mike, Workforce is off-cycle from ArcGIS Online updates. We're currently working on our next release now and expect the Workforce web application to be updated around mid-October end of October. Craig

Hi Scott, We've suspended development of Workforce on Windows 10 as noted in this https://blogs.esri.com/esri/arcgis/2017/04/26/arcgis-apps-for-the-field-on-the-windows-platform article. We are looking for feedback on interest in the Windows platform, there's an email at the end of the blog (esriApps4Windows10@esri.com) which can be used to provide that feedback and any details on your plans for using Windows in the field. Hi Corey, Yes. There are certain actions that we suggest you avoid with the items created when a Workforce Project is created, they're listed here, at the bottom of "What is a Workforce Project" FAQs for project owners—Workforce for ArcGIS | ArcGIS

Hi Gabrielle, I'd suggest talking to your Account Manager; they can provide you with information on how you can get more named users in your organization. Craig

Hi Brian, I agree that you don't want to give Workers access to the ability to add/cancel/modify assignments. That's one of the primary rules of Workforce; a Worker has access to their assignments. We don't have any plans to provide the Worker capabilities in a web app; we'll be focusing our efforts on improving our mobile app for Workers. It seems like what you're looking for is a way to access Worker capabilities on a Windows 10 device and you're looking at the Workforce web app to do that. We decided earlier this year to suspend development of Workforce (and other selective apps) on Windows 10 until we see an increase in Windows 10 adoption; here's our blog post on this: ArcGIS Apps for the Field on the Windows Platform | ArcGIS Blog I'd encourage you to send the feedback to the alias listed in the blog. Hi Brian, Your workers can access the Workforce web app in a browser if they are added as Dispatchers to the project. Keep in mind; this means the Workers will be able to perform the same tasks as a Dispatcher. I'd be interested to find out if this option doesn't work for you situation and why. thanks for your comment and interest in Workforce, Craig

Hi Gabrielle, You can add workers / named users that are in a group to Workforce; you should see the workers listed in the Select a User dropdown. Let me know if this doesn't answer your question or if I'm misinterpreting your question. thanks, Craig

Hi Jonathan, Yes, you can access the REST endpoint for services through the Service URL link on the item details page. Scroll to the bottom of the Service URL page and you'll see a number of Supported Operations; one being Query. You can use this to prove out the queries you're using. Little stumped by what happened on August 8th; there were no changes on our end for Workforce. Can you provide an example of the command line parameters you specify when you run the script? Craig

Jonathan, At this point, I can suggest a couple ways to track this down, but a solution may take some time; have you tried confirming the queries you are using return the correct features through the REST endpoint? When you say "the more recent assignments are missing" what does more recent mean? Is this the creation date of the assignments?

Adam, "Of those 8300, approximately 1000 are ready for assignment," - What is it about the 1000 assignments that makes them ready for assignment? How do workers know what assignments to pick-up? Adding a property to new status to an assignment to indicate that it can be picked up is a big change to our workflow; I'm not against doing it, but would really like to dig into how/why this would be needed. I agree that, removing the 7300 will skew the dashboard results. "I could also envision a situation where some ready but unassigned tasks should not be self-assignable, while others ready unassigned tasks could be picked by any crews." - Do you have some examples for this? thanks, Craig
