Hi @PaulLohr Would it be correct to say that relationships are supported in Web Editor and Map Viewer only for hosted content? This appears to be a regression, we're looking into it. You should be able to author related record form elements in the scenario you mention where, the web map is in Online and the feature layer references a service. We're just starting to investigate this, but this won't be something that can be addressed until the October release, if it is shown to be a regression. Craig

@RoanokeDave I have a map that I own with a hosted layer view in it, and that layer is shared Public. There's no option to open it with Web Editor through the options or the details page. One thing to check, has editing been enabled on the hosted layer view? I expected the Create Features menu to only show the non-view layer. There is a note displayed, however, that says the view layer doesn't allow editing but as the owner I can go ahead and do edits. Odd for a view layer. Based on what you're describing - I would expect this. And Odd that even as the owner I wasn't allowed the option of opening the map in Web Editor. That is the piece I mention above "We do plan to update this logic for the October release of Online to also add it for any web map you own (or all maps if you're an Administrator), irrespective of whether the map has layers enabled for editing." Now the kicker. I went back and took the editable layer out of the map and saved it, so it's back the way it was when I started with only the view layer in it. The view layer is still shared Public and it is not approved to allow Public Data Collection. The map is still shared Public. HOWEVER, now the details page and the options list both allow the map to be opened in Web Editor with just the view layer in it. And when opened it gives the message about the owner having permissions to edit. Somehow adding and removing an editable layer changed something that now allows me to open in Web Editor. I haven't reproduced this yet but will try again - but this sounds like a bug to me, but I'll confirm. Craig

@RoanokeDave is correct - the Open in Web Editor command is available for maps in June release (this will also be available in Enterprise 11.4) There must be at least 1 editable layer in the web map in order for these commands to appear (slight modification to what you said @RoanokeDave - it's not every layer. If you this is happening to you @RoanokeDave - please DM me) We do plan to update this logic for the October release of Online to also add it for any web map you own (or all maps if you're an Administrator), irrespective of whether the map has layers enabled for editing.

@BlakeMorrison this should now be possible with an update to Web Editor that we pushed out last night. Please let me know if this doesn't work for you.

@PaulLohr The Web Editor supports everything that you can do in Map Viewer using the edit widget in Online; so Attachments and GlobalID based relationships are supported, although the later will need to have a related record form element added to the form prior to it appearing. There are issues with attachments when the feature service doesn't support globalIDs but those are being worked on for the next release. What version of ArcGIS Server are you using and how are those services exposed in online? Craig

Hello @Jade_Freeman the Web Editor will be available as a separate stand-alone install for 11.3. We're working on this now but I don't have a timeframe yet for when we expect it to be available for download. Keep an eye on the Web Editor blogs - that is where we'll announce it. Craig

Hi @BlakeMorrison this is something we're working on now and we hope to include in Web Editor before the UC in a few weeks. You're correct, the feature form must be visible for the expressions to be run. We're looking at how to run expressions when geometry has been edited. Craig

Hello @BlakeMorrison glad you're enjoying Web Editor, appreciate the comments. The ability to explode multipart features is on the roadmap but I don't have a release that I can provide at this time. In the meantime, you can use the Split by Polygon to split multipart polygons - not as simple as Explode though. thanks for the feedback, Craig

yes, that is true @ClayDonaldsonSWCA; @DennisKaplan3333333333 this may be what you are seeing. The user must be a Creator named user to access Web Editor.

Hi @DennisKaplan3333333333 > I see the option to open your editable WebMap directly to the Web Editor application. I do not see those options. The `Open in Web Editor` command will appear for any editable web map that you own or have access to; can you confirm the map is editable and what its sharing level is? > Also is this only for WebMaps? Will editable feature layers be able to be opened up directly in the Web Editor application, or will it only work with WebMaps? This will only work with web maps, Web Editor doesn't support adding layers or editing a layer without a web map at this release.

thanks @RoanokeDave - this is one of the considerations wrt whether we wait for true curves or add the tools first. Thanks for the comments, very helpful for us to consider.

@RoanokeDave What about arcs? If they need to draw an arc to follow a road or draw a circle representing a trampoline what do the do? I know hosted feature layers don't support true curves ... and that's the other thing that needs to change The ability to support true curves in hosted feature layers is on our roadmap, I don't have a timeframe for it will be released, but it is a project that is being worked on. For the Web Editor, we can add drawing tools that create arcs or circles but these will be created as densified arcs until true curve support is added. We're evaluating if we wait for true curves support before adding those tools. Craig

@DennisKaplan3333333333 At this first release of the Web Editor, undo/redo is only supported while drawing geometries (i.e. when creating a new feature geometry) for hosted feature services. If you hover over the Undo/Redo buttons in the top right corner of the nav bar, the tooltip indicates this. Supporting undo/redo for all edits within Web Editor is one of our top priorities in our roadmap to add.
