Hi Derek, thanks for your question. Unfortunately, the removal or customization of Assignment status value is not something we support in Workforce.  But, it is in our backlog to consider at a future release. It looks like you'd like to remove the values; In Progress, Declined and Paused.  Can you go into any detail on why you'd like to remove these and what the use case is around that?  Some of these values are associated with workflows in Workforce; i.e. the Declined status allows a Worker to indicate why the work cannot be done. thanks, Craig ... Hello Michelle, We plan to include the ability for the Work Order ID field to be pre-populated based on expression in our roadmap; we're working with other areas of the ArcGIS platform on this.   One technique I have seen used for sites who need this ability is to use a Python script to populate the Work Order ID field at regular intervals (i.e. every 5 mins) for assignments after they are created. Graeme, While the Dispatchers are stored in a feature layer, the ability to assign them a location and them display them on a map is not something that is not on our roadmap at this time. Could you expand on the need to view the Dispatcher's location when in the field?  Who needs to see their location?  Other Dispatchers?  Workers in the Workforce Project? Hi Kadin, Thanks for your feedback - we'd love to hear how you're planning on integrating Explorer with Workforce so we have more real-world examples of it.  Feel free to send me a direct message or email. ArcGIS Online recently added the ability for Administrators and Owners to append data to layers in existing hosted feature layers without needing to overwrite the entire hosted feature layer.  We're working with that team to support this for Workforce.  So yes, this is coming but will be supported through ArcGIS Online. Patrick, thanks for the reply and feedback. It would be great if certain users could self assign work or pick up unassigned work. We use workforce for road maintenance so if one of our workers happens to already be in an area with an unassigned job it might be more efficient for them to pick it up.  This is the exact workflow we plan to target with the Self-Assign or Pick-up work functionality that we're planning.  It will allow workers to see unassigned work so they can self-assign it. As for creating new assignments in the field, it's likely that our road supervisor will identify a job in the field and assign it right away. I guess what I am trying to say is that it would be great if the dispatcher had a mobile app that is similar to the web app This is great feedback thank you, unfortunately, we don't have any plans for a Dispatcher mobile app.  We are working on improving the Workforce web app for use on mobile devices, both phone and tablet.  Our solution for this workflow going forward would be to use the Dispatcher web app. Are there any concerns with the Road Supervisor creating duplicate assignments while in the field? ... Patrick and others who've requested the ability to create assignments. Would it useful to provide certain Workers with the ability to self-assign or pick-up already created, but unassigned work assignments?  Are you able to describe how useful this would be to people in the field? With respect to creating new assignments in the field; are you concerned with duplicate Assignments being created, e.g. A worker sees an issue and creates a new assignment, not knowing it's already been reported and someone else was assigned to complete it.
