@OfraAi I don't believe what you're trying to do is possible right now, I'm sorry, I don't have a workaround in Experience Builder or Web Editor - if you need this workflow, Web App Builder would be your best option for now. We're working on bringing Copy/Paste into Experience Builder over the next few releases of ArcGIS Online - I expect the functionality to be in an Enterprise release in 2026 but I can't comment on which one at this time.

@CraigWeber Are you running into this issue on Enterprise 11.3? What is the error or message you receive? Can you reproduce the issue in multiple browsers?

hello @ODWC_GIS thanks for the feedback on Web Editor. We do have guards in place in the Web Editor to prompt users to confirm they would like to proceed with deleting features; here's a screenshot: We do include a checkbox option to "Do not show this warning again" for users who find the prompt obtrusive. The option in the Setting panels to "Show delete features prompt" allows you to override the checkbox and bring the prompt back (without having to dig into the browser storage, which is where we store whether the user has used the checkbox in the prompt) It sounds like you have users in your organization who should always be shows the prompt and always asked to confirm deleting features before deleting them. Do I have that right? As @DavidSolari mentions above we can change this behavior, but would need to know what you would like use to change it to. Do you have ideas or suggestions on how we can change this so you feel comfortable making Web Editor available within your organization? thanks, Craig

@OfraAi We are working towards this; both in Experience Builder and Web Editor. We're working on bringing the Copy/Paste capability to Experience Builder, which, if that is all that is missing from your workflow, would allow you to complete it in Experience Builder.

Hi @SimonSchütte_ct this functionality has not been assigned to release or version, so any version that I provided as one we're aiming for would not be accurate.

Hi @Joshua-Young I'll see if we can get this in for the next release. We're working on some other areas of Web Editor and a good chunk of our time is set aside for backend work that will help deliver other capabilities in future releases, but I'll see what we can do.

It isn't clear if that means the Web Editor app will only exist in the short term until its functionality is incorporated into the Map Viewer. There are no plans to remove the Web Editor.

@MikeDahm Web Editor is only available for Creator and above, correct. The ability to configure certain fields to not be available for batch editing isn't something that is being considered for the June release, but is something we're discussing. We'll discuss this and see how we can best handle it. Craig

@RyanKelley_NA are you looking for the same Filter capability that is in Map Viewer? If added to Web Editor, the Filters would be temporary and not saved with the web map. Would this work for your use case?

@RyanKelley_NA Thanks for the feedback. We're working on moving the capabilities in the Web Editor into the Editor widget within Map Viewer. This will be taking place over several releases. Interested in knowing what kind of editing you're doing where you feel the need to bounce between the two applications. We've gotten a positive reaction to Web Editor overall, so it could be that your workflows are different or unique from some of the feedback we've gotten.

@MikeDahm At this time, there is no ability to limit or block users from using the batch attribute ability in Web Editor, whether for geometry or attribute updates. Can you go into a bit of detail of your use case for limiting attributes to edit in the Batch Attribute Editor widget in WAB? What's a scenario where a user can edit the attributes for individual features but not batch features? There's also no ability to limit the web map from being opened in Web Editor. If the user is a Creator user type then they will have access to Web Editor. Are your fielders and non traditional GIS users Creator user types? thanks, Craig

@mwartman_grey Glad you're happy to see this make into the Feb 2025 ArcGIS Online release. This is first release of the functionality and we do plan further updates and improvements. Specifically, the limits, as Emily mentions in her blog post, we are working to increase the limits in a future release. When a layer has forms authored, we've decided to be conservative with this first release while we continue to optimize the experience. This is to ensure predictable performance regardless of form complexity. Batch updating forms that make use of FeatureSet functionality have the potential to degrade performance and the user experience especially if a form contains multiple arcade expressions that use FeatureSets. The 20 feature limit ensures that even when multiple users in an organization are performing batch editing with complex forms they have a consistent and responsive experience. We appreciate the feedback and know this capability has been something people have been waiting to see for sometime. We made the decision to include in Web Editor, even with the limits, at this release based on that demand. Craig
