Hello Melisa, 1. There is no way to change that - we are looking at changing Workforce for the December release to expand the width of the Assignment type dropdown 2. David,  Workforce only requires sharing to the Workforce group, not the Organization or Public. Sharing with public would by-pass certain checks so I can see why it works but it should not be required. thanks David, we're logging a bug so we can look at it. We can't see anything that stands out; however, a few things to try: Open the web map in Map Viewer, make some minor change, then save it.
