do you know how to do this in Calculate field? It runs but outputs a null date... Date_Def is my date field to output Def_Year is the year grid_code is the julian date

Thanks! Timetuple seems to be getting there. But my two field are Julian Date of the year (dd) and year (yyyy). How do I do the opposite of what you propose? I am looking for an Arcade or python code (for use in Calculate Value in ModelBuilder) to concatenate two fields of an attribute table: -Julian Day (1-365) -Year (YYYY) to calculate a field with a date (mm/dd/yyyy) I tried Convert time field and it just made all my dates January 1 2001. Can anyone help? Thank you!!

So the way I do the dashboard is to use the web app builder dashboard template - you can then use the count, query widgets to search strings in a field, for example FIELD_1 contains "food." Unfortunately (and this is so stupid it's enraging) the ESRI Operations Dashboard tool makes great interactive dashboards but does NOT have the option to search strings! only select a value, so if you have multiple choice answers you would need to actually write out every possible entry which is when you give up and resort to WAB and wish ESRI would make a useful dashboard tool!

My feature service is from a survey where one of the questions is multiple choice, so there are different combinations of answers. https://panda.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=088a76d378d5489ea10153bfddb159ba In Web App Builder I can create a filter based on a search string, so that any of the results with a certain choice pop up. This is great, but I have gotten a complaint that when you click on a chart, it doesn't filter in the map. So I want to use Operations Dashboard, but the Selector options don't work the same as the WAB filter. When I try the selector using categories from features, it seems I can only can filter for the one answer that "exclusively" has one response. I tried putting in a filter first, and looking atthe "preview data table" button in the selector configuration, the data table filters correctly, but when I'm in the dashboard, if I click the selector, it only selects the exclusive answer. With the grouped values, I override the category names, but the filter does not work at all, it lists every different combination of answers, it does not search for the category names. Is there a way in Operations Dashboard to filter by a search string, just like in Web App builder?

Thanks Jake! I started all over and it worked - I was trying to run it on a feature service view, and not the original service. The original feature service however is an output from survey123. As we are still collecting data, will the survey still work if I have created new fields online, but aren't in the original survey? Also, I need to re-run the tool for future survey responses? I have done both - added the thumbnail online, it downloads, but doesn't show up in the app (which I also just deleted and re-installed on android). Then I put it in Survey123, re-published, it's online but still doesn't show up in the app.
