Jake- There is no explicit limitation in terms of the frequency of locations used; this is can be changed through by the updateInterval property in the web map JSON. Of course, this is "an at your own risk" change. -Doug

Note that we recently added support for two new metadata attributes (CorrectionAge and Station ID). The github repo dking-esristaff mentions above has been updated to include these new metadata fields.

Pankaj- If each user is logging in to the device using a different account, each user will need to install Collector separately. Windows Store apps are sandboxed and limited to the specific user account (they do not require administrator rights to install). Alternatively you can elect to deploy apps through the Windows Store for Business, which depending on the preferred deployment method, would allow you to install on each user account automatically. -Doug

Rene is indeed correct, support for Arcade expressions is something we intend to add support for in Collector. Thanks tomrip for creating an idea for others to upvote and comment on.

Hi Morten- The upgrade process will be handled in the same manner as the installation (in your case through SCCM deployment). No uninstall should be required. I would not perform an uninstall step as this will remove any signed in accounts and local data they already have on the device. -Doug

In that case you'll need to go through Server Manager to configure the feature service. I'd suggest reading through this topic: Editor permissions for feature services—Documentation | ArcGIS for Server

No problem Gus. One question: is your feature service hosted within ArcGIS Online, or from ArcGIS Server?

Hi Gus- The settings above are accessed from the item details page of the feature service, and clicking the Settings tab beneath the name of the service. You will need to be the owner of the item in order to do this (or an admin). -Doug

If you are only interested in having them add/update/delete inspection records, you could disable editing for the parent feature layer in the web map. This will prevent field workers from updating the feature attributes or geometry. Currently there's no way to configure both attribute only-update for the feature and still support adding new inspection (related) records. -Doug

Thanks to everyone who shared their information with us. We have addressed this as part of our upcoming 10.4 release. This is fixed in the latest beta release (beta 4) if you'd like to try this out before we go final shortly.

jskinner-esristaff is correct, on iOS we only support attaching photos and videos. We do support additional file types like Excel documents and PDFs in Collector on Windows. I'd encourage you to add your desired file types you'd like to attach to the idea Jake mentions above.

Another possible route to respond immediately to edits made to a given feature service would be to use the Geoevent Extension for Server. These triggers could also be spatial as we as attribute event-based. This would allow you to respond to an edit, etc. and perform a variety of actions, including sending emails, texts or similar. For more information: What is ArcGIS GeoEvent Extension for Server?—Real-time Data Feeds and Sensors (10.4.1) | ArcGIS for Server -Doug
