Hi @GITest, We've only heard of an issue where Monitor 2025.1 is not capturing data from Linux storage devices. Is this what you mean or something else? Please contact Esri Tech Support and open a case so they can help investigate further.

ArcGIS Monitor provides observability by collecting metrics on the health, performance, and usage of your enterprise GIS. It is designed to help administrators and managers ensure their ArcGIS Enterprise deployments are working efficiently by reducing and preventing system downtime, resulting in operational cost savings. This great blog by Lionel Todome from Esri France, discusses observability, one of the key pillars of the ArcGIS Well architected framework, and how Monitor helps with proactive management of your enterprise GIS. Discover ArcGIS Monitor: monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of your ArcGIS GIS (blog is written in French, but can be easily translated within a web browser)

Hi @AH2, > Our data store is register with Monitor, but it's under Hosts. You will need to register the ArcGIS Data Store (relational) as a separate component type with ArcGIS Monitor. I believe what you're describing in the statement above is the host machine where the ArcGIS Data Store is running on. Hope this helps,

If you're running ArcGIS Enterprise, then you should be using ArcGIS Monitor - it collects metrics on the health, performance, and usage of your Enterprise GIS to optimize your GIS and IT investment. It help administrators and GIS Manager ensure their ArcGIS Enterprise deployments are working efficiently by reducing and preventing system downtime; resulting in operational cost savings. ArcGIS Monitor supports the observability pillar , a best practice of the ArcGIS Architecture Center. FYI, ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1 introduced the concept of component relationship graphs, which allows you to visualize relationships and dependencies of your enterprise GIS assets using component relationship graphs. Learn more in this blog. To learn more at FedGIS 2026, attend the technical workshop: ArcGIS Monitor: Observability for Your Mission-Critical GIS Operations Wed Feb 11; 11 am Room 144C | WEWCC As federal agencies continue to expand their ArcGIS deployments, ensuring system performance and scalability becomes increasingly challenging. ArcGIS Monitor proactively identifies issues such as slow services, resource bottlenecks, and system outages before they impact mission-critical functions. Learn about analysis views and alerts on system resources, response times and service availability, as well as graphs that show relationships for components and their dependencies. HI @RaymondCrew, > My question, is the docs for Monitor 2025.1 state you must use Esri Web Adapters 12.0 or greater. Is that accurate? To help clarify, for ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1, if you want to use a reverse proxy for logging into Monitor, then you will need to use ArcGIS Web Adaptor 12.0. If you have ArcGIS Enterprise 11.5, and you want to use the ArcGIS Web Adaptor 11.5 for those components such as the enterprise portal, ArcGIS Server, etc. You can. And you can still register them with ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1 to collect metrics on them. Hope this helps,

Orange County, Virginia maintains a large ArcGIS Enterprise deployment with numerous services running concurrently. While most services experience moderate usage, one parcel service receives the majority of incoming requests and supports a heavily used public-facing application. Over time, this service began exhibiting long load times, request timeouts, and inconsistent performance, issues that directly impacted staff workflows and the public user experience. Blue Raster partnered with Orange County to implement ArcGIS Monitor with a focus on turning raw system metrics into actionable insight. Rather than overwhelming the GIS administrator with data, the goal was to surface the information that mattered most, clearly and immediately. Hi @IrisHadarStltd, Something to check that the two hosts have different system IDs in Monitor: can you please navigate to Monitoring tab > Components subtab. In the components table, look under the System ID column for the two hosts, are they different? They should be different for Monitor to distinguish between the two hosts. Hope this helps,

Hi @WalterSimonazzi_VicPol, > What I'm now seeing is that in some servers Monitor Agents stop or, in some cases they just stop reporting stats, althought thes service is running. The issue resolves after restarting the service. Is there a way to avoid this behaviour? Unsure without getting more information about the host, ArcGIS Enterprise release version, etc. Are you seeing this behavior consistently? Is there a certain time period when this happens? Are there any processes running on the host (e.g., maybe an automated security scan) that might interfere with the AM Agent? Please contact Esri Tech Support and open a case so they can help investigate. Hope this helps,
