Hi @Vincent828, > Just want to clarify if it appropriate to use Check - Service observer to monitor custom application. @StevenBeothy already answered this question. The Check Service observer only works with registered service components in Monitor. > we would like to monitor a custom application This is not currently possible in ArcGIS Monitor. Please submit a feature enhancement request in the ArcGIS Monitor Ideas forum. > ... is there any trick to create Check-Service observer? To enable and apply the Check-Service observer, under the Monitoring page > select a service component > Observers subtab. Click the Add observer button to display the Add Observer dialog. All, In ArcGIS Monitor 2025, we’ve identified a regression in the DNS lookup logic run in AM Server and AM Agent when they boot up. We’ve seen this manifest in certain environments with no DNS available or under certain DNS lookup/name resolution configurations. We understand this is a critical issue and we are working on a fix to address this issue ASAP.

Hi @Justin0001, > Is there additional setup that needs to be done to capture the logs? No, there is no additional configuration. The logs should work after Monitor is installed. > I am not able to view any log data for any registered components. Can you please elaborate? Under the Monitoring tab > select a component > Logs sub tab - do you see a list of logs? or something else? can you post a screenshot? If you see a list of logs, click View details on one of them - what do you see? can you post a screenshot? Hope this helps,

Hi @GISSupport_MUAR, We are actually working on enabling this for the next ArcGIS Monitor 2025.1 release. We will support component relationship graphs that will display relationships between different registered components in ArcGIS Monitor. If you have specific use cases or requirements, please let us know. Hope this helps,

Hi @Oiligriv, > I noticed that by disabling the primary administrator site from ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Monitor is no longer able to get the metrics. This is expected behavior. ArcGIS Monitor is considered to be a trusted client to ArcGIS Enterprise and needs to use the primary site administrator (PSA) account to access metrics from a federated ArcGIS Server site. To add onto @StevenBeothy's comment, > Esri is working on aligning their hardening guidelines with certain requirements like the one above to better align the two in the future. This has already been done. Hope this helps,

Hi @ZahidMia, The "Client not authenticated to send mail" error suggests an issue with the outgoing mail server (SMTP) authentication. Please ensure your firewall or any security software is not blocking the SMTP server connection. Otherwise, I suggest you check with your IT Dept for further assistance, as they would have a better understanding of the specific SMTP configuration. Hope this helps,

Hi @Royce_Simpson, I'm sorry you're running into this issue again. And I am unsure what the cause might be. Any chance you could upgrade your Monitor instance to the 2025.0 release to see if this resolves?
