Hi Federico, To prevent the spatial join output from being overwritten, you will need to use an inline variable in the naming of the output. Can you please change the symbology of your dissolved parcels to better show which need to be attached to which route? Thanks, Melanie S.

Hi Srikanth, From my understanding, you want to know the unincorporated population of each county, is that correct? If so I would do the following: 1. Run Make Feature Layer on the cities layer with Use Ratio for the unincorporated population attribute 2. Run Intersect on the cities to get the ratio of the unincorporated population for each county/city combo 3. Dissolve the intersect output based on the county name and use the unincorporated population attribute as a SUM statistics field Note that I did not test this workflow. Best, Melanie S.

Hello, If I understand you correctly, you want to combine your parcel data (polygons) with your route data (lines) which cannot be done. If you are just trying to attach the attributes of the parcels to the line data, I would suggest the Spatial Join tool. Best, Melanie S.

Hi Michelle, This worked for me, it does assume that all values being compared are unique though. import arcpy
flayer = "Points"
alayer = "PointsAnno"
FRows = arcpy.SearchCursor(flayer,"", sort_fields="ID A")
ARows = arcpy.SearchCursor(alayer,"", sort_fields="TextString A")
FList = []
AList = []
for row in FRows:
Fvalue = row.getValue("ID")
FList.append(str(Fvalue))
for row in ARows:
Avalue = row.getValue("TextString")
AList.append(str(Avalue))
matched = set(FList) & set(AList)
for X in matched:
exp = "ID = " + X
arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management(flayer, "ADD_TO_SELECTION", exp)
arcpy.SelectLayerByAttribute_management(flayer, "SWITCH_SELECTION") Best, Melanie S.

Hello, Attached in a python script that will select all duplicate records. This will at least ID which ones you need to go through, I would not suggest automating the deleting process as you are not sure which one needs to be deleted. Best, Melanie S.

Hello, The Delete Identical Tool is only available at the ArcInfo license level which is why you are getting that message. Do you want to delete the features or just the values in the attribute table? Do you want all identical values to be deleted or to only delete one of them? Best, Melanie S.

Hi Justin, You are not able to edit the fields that are part of editor tracking. If you enable tracking and use the fields you previously maintained, the values should not be replaced. If you are uncertain, feel free to make a copy of your data and test first. Also, at 10.1 you are able to change field names through stand-alone ArcCatalog. Best, Melanie S.

Hi Deneb, How large is your layout? It looks like it may be larger than the page size of your default printer. If this is the case, you can set up a dummy printer which may resolve the issue. Best, Melanie S.
