Hi all, In the June 2024 Update, we will introduce a new report page for generating reports. It looks similar to and has the same capabilities as the report panel on the Data tab, but it excludes other UI elements, so it can be embedded in other pages or apps. Please feel free to try it out by following the details in this EAC document: New web page for Survey123 report capability. Any feedback, please feel free to post in the Survey123 Beta Website Feedback forum. Thank you.

Hi @hsummers_scf , Survey123 supports "repeat question", in which you can collect multiple answers (including geometries) to a related layer for one survey response. That being said, I assume you are only interested in the combined geometry (e.g. overall area of interest), I don't see the repeat question can help your workflow. Also, the Survey widget does not support combining multiple geometries. Therefore, the alternative approach you mentioned could be a potential workaround: you can submit object IDs or global IDs of those selected features to the survey, and utilize a webhook in the behind to combine those geometries and update the geometry of the submitted record automatically.

The domain https://arcgis-prd-survey123-use1-reports.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com is dedicated to hosting generated reports in our infrastructure before the report file is "downloaded" to your ArcGIS Enterprise server (it's adding the report as an item from your perspective). No additional loss of functionality to access this domain. To make the report workflow work as expected against your ArcGIS Enterprise, it's required for your ArcGIS Enterprise server to have the access to the above domain.

Hi @abureaux , I assume you are connecting the Survey123 website to an ArcGIS Enterprise instance. I think you might encounter the issue as https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/an-error-while-generating-feature-report-portal/m-p/852190/highlight/true#M23792, which is caused by that the server-side of your ArcGIS Enterprise cannot fetch the generated report (to save as an item) on the Survey123 infrastructure. Can you please confirm that your ArcGIS Enterprise server can access the domain https://arcgis-prd-survey123-use1-reports.s3.us-east-1.amazonaws.com ? This is where the generated reports resides, and the Enterprise will download from and save the report as an item.

Hi @FredMitchell , Do you mean the grid layout? It is a known limitation that the grid layout style is not supported in the web app. If this is important for your workflow, please feel free to contact Esri Support Service to add the justification to ENH-000130822 to help us prioritize the enhancement.

Hi @cdevault_pickett , Thanks for sharing the result and good to know it works for you. For the error message in the screenshot in the original post by @TSWCD_GIS , You do not have permission to view this survey record. This means the Survey widget is used in the view mode (vs. normal submit mode) to view a specific record in the result layer, however, the user who opens this web page does not have privilege to see the record. For example, The user does not have access to the feature layer that stores the submitted record. Or the user can access the record, but the layer is configured "user can only see the record submitted by themselves" and the specific record is submitted by another user. Related settings are suggested to configure via Collaborate->Share results (not Share survey) tab on the Survey123 website or if you are familiar with feature layer, you can configure the underlying details on the item details page of the feature layer in ArcGIS Online.

@RobertHauck1 , Can you please try again in the Survey123 web app by appending ?version=latest in the URL? This forces loading your survey in the latest 3.19 version of Survey123 web app which includes the webhook fix. If everything goes well, you can republish the survey in the Survey123 website or 3.19 Survey123 Connect to utilize the fix.

Hi @Blihack , The Survey123 web app can now edit or view a submitted record with repeat. However, for nested repeats, the edit and view modes still do not work. If this affects your workflow, please feel free to add your cases to ENH-000134198 via Esri Support Service.

Hi @EdKnowles , Editing nested repeat (repeat in a repeat) is currently not available in the Survey123 web app. If this is important to your workflow, please feel free to add your use case or business justification to ENH-000134198 via Esri Support Service to help us prioritize the development work. Thanks.

Hi, Editing an existing record in the Survey123 web app is now available via the ?mode=edit&globalId= URL parameters, please see https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-web-form-url/ba-p/894722 for details. To embed a survey in Dashboard, here is the example to get started: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-blog/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-embedding-a-survey/ba-p/899140 . The current known limitation is that the Survey123 web app cannot edit a survey that has repeat in a repeat (nested repeat). If you would like to do so, please feel free to raise a new ArcGIS Idea or add your use case to ENH-000134198 via Esri Support Service. Thanks!
