Hi Brent Rogan, Did you see "Rename a choice item in Multiple Choice question is not supported." tip message in the Edit panel of your multiple choice question and also a name longer than 32 characters in the Modify schema dialog but unable to edit? The longer names than 32 characters were left due to this bug and it's not possible to rename/shorten them after first publishing. If this is the case, you may want to try to save this survey as a new one and continue to edit/publish. In the new survey, you are able to use a label longer than 32 characters. Hi JAVIER VARA SANZ, Seems the report engine cannot parse the placeholder 2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER.Grants as a valid field name or a field name from a parent layer. Would you please confirm which is your case regarding the field name in the database? Is 2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER.Grants is a whole field name that contains period (.) inside the name? Or 2020_Prescribed_Fire_Grant_Application_MASTER is a layer name while only Grants is a field name? Currently, the report engine doesn't support field name which contains a preriod (.) in it. In addition, it will be helpful if it's possible to share the original XLSForm and report template file for us to investigate/confirm the issue. Thanks, Zhifang

Christian, The 3.6 release is available now, would you mind checking if your survey can work with the 3.6 web app now? To do so, you can append `?version=latest` to your survey URL such as https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/{surveyID}?version=latest, this allows to load your survey in the latest web app no matter if it's version locked. Once you confirm the fix works, you can then decide if re-publishing to upgrade your survey or turn off the version lock to let it work in the 3.6 web app is needed. Hi Yulia, After some investigations, it turns out that due to an enhancement to the report engine in 3.6 release, some incorrect syntax in the report template which worked before cannot work after 3.6 release now. Such as: ${if image_field_1 | getValue:"size">0} : should add parentheses as ${if (image_field_1 | getValue:"size")>0} or use ${if image_field_1} directly if you want to print something only if the image exists. ${if choiceQuestion1="choice1"} : should use == instead of = Would you please confirm if one of the above syntaxes exists in your report template? Seems there is some specific content in your survey/template which leads to such error. Would you mind sharing your XLSForm and template for us to investigate? Hi Chris Thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, this is a known limitation of the web app currently, the only workaround is like you described, to open the image in a new tab... We have an issue for this in our backlog and I added your vote in that issue. In the meantime, it would be better for you to raise this as an enhancement case to Esri Support Service, so it can raise the priority for this issue and may let other users append their voice to that case too. Hi Christian, The fix is actually applied to the web app, but not Survey123 Connect or Survey123 filed app, so you may need to wait until the Survey123 website/web app got updated in the public 3.6 release. Hi Christian, The issue is caused by an annotate/signature question followed another question which is triggered by a relevant rule, the fix will be available in the coming 3.6 release (before October).
