Hi Keith, Thanks for your feedback, the problem should have been fixed, can you please try and let us know if it works for you now? We are still collecting feedback to see if there is any issue when the feature report works together with ArcGIS Online credits, this is why no credits are charged for now. Your and other's feedback in this issue definitely helps us make the system work more robust. Thank you for your understanding. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Stuart Moore Keith Aubin, Thank you for the feedback, this is something we also noticed today which caused by an issue on our server-side. We have already addressed and fixed it now, would you mind trying again to see if it works as expected? Note: if the feature report just worked fine before today, there is no need to update any settings in your account. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Roger, Thanks for sharing the XLSForm file for us to investigate. The issue was caused that questions in a nested group/repeat will be missing in the list when comparing with another question/field. The fix will be available in the next 3.6 release planned in September. Thanks again for your feedback and please let us know if you have any further question. Cheers, Zhifang

Hi Richard, We suggest Survey123 users use the website to manage survey settings (permissions, sharing, etc.) as long as it can be done on Survey123 website, since manually change settings to survey items in ArcGIS Online could potentially lead to unexpected behavior in the website or even the field/web app, unless you know the details of the behind scenes. Also, we are pleased to share any information you would like to know, so do not hesitate to raise any question. I've also raised your voice to two of issues in our backlog: In the Collaborate tab of Survey123 website, show "share to Everyone" option to an org administrator even the org does not allow members to share content publicly. (This is only for the administrator's survey) Allow org administrator to completely manage surveys of any member in the org. Hope these two enhancements would fulfill your scenario in the future. Please let us know if you have any further question. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Erica, On Survey123 website, yes, the survey owner can edit/delete any records. "I then need someone (my Workforce Dispatcher) to edit one field (that was not populated as part of the survey) in the resulting feature layer" - Does this mean your survey was created from existing feature layer and the field you want the dispatcher to edit is not in the design of the survey? If this is the case, for the Data page of Survey123 website: As a survey owner, you can edit the field (which is not in the survey) in the feature table directly by double-clicking the cell. You cannot edit the field in the individual response view since the survey web app will not contain the field. Workforce Dispatcher cannot edit the field anyway, since editing through the feature table is only available to survey owner. Through the individual response, they can only edit records belong to themselves since they are not the survey owner or the future Editor role. If you want Workforce Dispatcher to edit the field outside Survey123 website, it's possible as long as appropriate Editing settings are applied to which feature layer (view) you use in the edit application (not sure which application you refer to?). For example, if "Editors can edit all features" is set to "What features can editors edit?" and "Add, update, and delete features" is set to "What kind of editing is allowed?", dispatchers will be able to edit the field for any records.

Hi Richard, If you want to update the sharing/editing permission manually in ArcGIS Online, you may want to know that how Survey123 control privileges for fieldworkers and stakeholders by utilizing the feature service and feature service views. There will be 3 feature service (view) items in the survey folder: The source feature service: which actually stores your survey data. The _fieldworker view: which controls who can submit new data to your survey, this is mainly what the Collaborate->Submitter tab manipulates. The _stakeholder view: which controls who can view your survey data/result, this is mainly what the Collaborate->Viewer tab manipulates. See FAQ: What are the Fieldworker and Stakeholder hosted views used for in Survey123? for details. In addition, the form item in the survey folder actually stores what questions are in your survey and other related settings (the form itself). So who can access the form item will be able to view your survey form, technically. However, only share the form item to a group of people is not meaningful, since they cannot interact (submit/view) with the behind data. For Survey123 website, When you share the survey to a group of users through the Collaborate->Submitter, the website will share both the form item and the _fieldworker view item (the source feature service item for Survey123 Connect survey) to the group, so that this group of users can view your survey form and also submit data to the behind feature service. When you share the survey to a group of users through the Collaborate->Viewer, the website will share both the form item and _stakeholder view item to the group, so this group of users can view your survey form and also view the survey result. Thus, you will the sharing level of the form item will be the combination from both the Collaborate->Submitter and the Collaborate->Viewer from the website. For your questions: want a certain group to be able to view the data/results: If you want these stakeholders to view the survey results in Survey123 website, it requires to share the form item and _stakeholder view item to only this group of users. As the Administrator, needing to share the survey publicly so anonymous can submit new data to the survey: This requires to share both the form item and _fieldworker view item to Everyone. Thus, the form item needs to be shared to Everyone. Editing will be a different story, the detailed settings you see in the Settings tab of the feature service (view) item in ArcGIS Online controls what actions can be performed by users who can access the feature service (view). Please see https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/manage-hosted-feature-layers.htm for details. We have an issue in our backlog to allow the org administrators to fully edit the survey in Survey123 website (design, share, view/edit data), please let us know if you want to share other's surveys as an org administrator through Survey123 website so you can avoid doing detailed settings in ArcGIS Online. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Erica, Thank you for the feedback and information. Currently, the editing capability in the Data tab of the website has the following limitations: Editing is supported for surveys both from the web designer and Survey123 Connect, but only for surveys without any repeat. If the survey has a repeat, you should see the message "Editing existing records is not supported for surveys which contain repeat." As a non-owner user, you cannot edit/delete records submitted by other users. As long as the member is in the appropriate group, the workflow should work as expected no matter he/she is inside or outside the org. We had an issue in our backlog to support editing for a survey contains simple repeat (not nested repeat) and I've added your voice to that issue. For the second limitation, we currently don't have the plan to expand the capability to allow non-owner users to edit/delete others' records. Instead, would another new role "Editor" (like the current Submitter and Viewer) which can completely add/edit/delete all records in the survey makes sense to you? This is something we discussed in the development team but would like to hear more feedback before moving forward. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Terence, The data collected by Survey123 is stored in an underlying hosted feature layer in ArcGIS Online, which includes the capability to expose the data through a query operation in REST API for various kinds of format, including GeoJSON. For example: http://sampleserver6.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/Wildfire/FeatureServer/0/query?where=1%3D1&outFields=*&returnGeometry=true&f=geojson will return all features in the layer in GeoJSON format. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Steven, Thanks for the feedback and sharing the XLSForm and report template files. From my testing, if I create a survey in ArcGIS Online (by removing the value of submission_url in your XLSForm) and use your report template, a submitted image/signature can be printed as expected in the report. Since the value of submission_url of the settings sheet seems to be an item in ArcGIS Enterprise, can you please confirm your survey is published in ArcGIS Enterprise? In such a case, any attachment file stored in ArcGIS Enterprise does not have the "keywords" property supported which will lead to a known issue that you cannot reference an attachment file (image/signature...) in the report template by using the question name. That is being said, if your survey is in ArcGIS Enterprise, the syntax such as ${operatorSignature | size:300:0} will not work by design due to the limitation mentioned above, instead, blank value (a small white image) is expected for such a placeholder in the printed report. Would you mind sharing more details when you referred "The same surveys/report templates were previously working with the 'Beta Reports.' "? Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Nicole, Thank you for the feedback. This known limitation (lack of keywords property support for attachments in ArcGIS Enterprise) has already been submitted to ArcGIS Enterpirse team and it's going to be supported in a future release. I've also added your voice to the internal issue backlog. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Anne, The Feature Report capability now requires an additional privilege which does not apply to a custom role in ArcGIS Online by default. Please find more information in our blog: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2019/06/28/world-ufo-day-release-35 Feature Report generation is available as a premium ArcGIS Online service. Users who want to use the service will need to be granted Feature report privileges. By default, all roles and role templates included in ArcGIS Online include this capability, but if you use custom roles you will need to turn it on. This can only be done by an administrator of an ArcGIS Online organization by including Feature report access to the custom member role. Thanks, Zhifang

Hi Melissa, Thank you for the information. If your survey does not contain a repeat, you can currently have two options for editing the existing data: As the survey owner, you can edit/delete all the records in the Data tab As a Submitter+Viewer (or fieldworker+stakeholder, the owner needs to share the survey with you from these two perspectives, you can edit/delete your own records in the Data tab. For now, other users than the owner cannot edit other's data through the UI of the website, to enable this, we also discussed within the development team and evaluate to see if it worths to introduce a third role called Editor in the Collaborate tab of the website, who can have the capability to view/edit/delete all existing data. Is it something can fit your workflow or would you mind sharing more details if there are more requirements in your workflow? Thanks, Zhifang
