Hi All, The summary report is designed to print aggregated results such as attributes statistics or map with multiple geometries. It is not intended to be used as a workaround for printing multiple individual reports. As current feedback we received for ENH-000147410 are trying to print multiple individual records in a summary report, it is closed as "Will Not Be Addressed". If your summary report template requires printing images/maps inside an iteration and cannot be done by individual report templates, please share your template here or raise a new enhancement to Esri Support Service with detailed justification.

Hi @CarolinaMatoszko , We received the case #03004740 raised to Esri Support Service, I got the report template (.docx file) but without the XLSForm file yet. Can you please share both the XLSForm file (.xlsx) and the report template (.docx) with me (zwang[at]esri.com)? I will reply to you in email.

@GarethBaker1 , There is no way to hide the locate button in the UI currently. If you don't want to capture the device location after loading the form in the Survey123 web app, you can set "null" as the default value (default column) to the geopoint question in Survey123 Connect. Please see details in this doc: https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/geopoints.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_6B32C981BC5E490AAAFCE52E15993DC3 Generally, for the Survey123 web app, if you leave the default column empty for a geopoint question, Before 3.14 release (<=3.13), the web app does nothing but only zooms to the home location After 3.14 release (>=3.14), the web app requests the device location after the form loading. Set the default value as "null" to keep the same behavior as previous versions Setting a pair of coordinates as the default value works consistently before and after 3.14 version

There is an enhancement ENH-000147410 (Survey123 Reports could be enhanced by allowing for the printing of maps and images within an iterator or repeat section.) created for this. Please reach out to Esri Support Service for this to prioritize this work.

@AngelRomoSandoval , Printing images and maps in a summary section--only outside a repeat iteration--is supported in the February 2022 update. Due to performance consideration (it is unpredictable for how many maps/images will be included), it is a known limitation that you cannot print images/maps inside a repeat of a summary section. Please see the note in the doc and previous blog Survey123 Tricks of the Trade: Summary sections in reports (Other considerations and tips). Can you please share: How would you like to use maps and images in your summary report? How many maps/images typically will be included in your summary report? Thanks, Zhifang

@TylerBragg2 , Republish a survey by using a previous version of Survey123 Connect can downgrade its version and possible to use an older version of the Survey123 web app to avoid any issue introduced by the latest version of the web app. However, it is suggested to turn on version lock for the web app in Settings->Version on the Survey123 website, this ensures your survey will not be affected by a new release. When you need to "upgrade" a survey (republish in a new version of Survey123 Connect or the Survey123 website after a new release) to utilize new features, it is strongly recommended to test your survey by changing the option to "Always use the latest version" temporarily or append ?version=latest in the survey URL before upgrading. Thanks, Zhifang

@Anonymous User , Can you please change the settings in iOS Settings->Safari e.g. to ask every time to see if it works? Or try in Chrome for the camera to see if it is blocked by the browser setting or iOS setting.

@DarraghOSullivan , Yes, the Survey123 field app or web app will scale down the image according to the setting to reduce file size and save storage/network transmission. Please find here the details in the doc https://doc.arcgis.com/en/survey123/desktop/create-surveys/xlsformmedia.htm#GUID-22BCA2FE-B1F5-428A-B616-1623D0D46A82

Hi @TylerBragg2 , Thank you for sharing the information. We have identified an issue in the Survey123 web app for image questions published from Survey123 Connect 3.14, they cannot accept JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg) files, including photo taken from a webcam, where PNG files can work as expected. The details are in this post https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-survey123-questions/jpg-not-accepted-anymore-in-survey/m-p/1149149/highlight/true#M40918 , would you mind confirming if this is your case? Thanks, Zhifang

Hi @DarraghOSullivan , This issue has been identified further to image questions that are set with a restricted size (resolution): In Survey123 Connect, if any size is set in the Options->Images (other than Unrestricted), by default it is 1280pixels, all image questions in XLSForm will be affected If Options->Images is set to Unrestricted, only image questions use max-pixels= in the parameters column are affected This issue does not affect image questions authored from the Survey123 website This issue does not affect 3.13 web app or earlier Would you mind confirming if this is your case?

@DarraghOSullivan , Thanks for the information and sharing the XLSForm file. I can reproduce the issue and we are working on a fix to address it soon. This is an issue introduced by the latest February update (3.14 version) of the Survey123 web app, the older versions of the web app e.g. 3.13 should work as expected for the image question. Please keep in mind that it is always suggested to turn on the version lock for the web app to ensure your survey will not be affected by releases, and always try to test before upgrading the survey/republishing the survey in a newer version.

@DarraghOSullivan @Anonymous User , Can you please provide the following information to help us locate the issue? If available, share a minimal XLSForm file that can reproduce the issue Did you encounter the issue in the edit mode (?mode=edit, update existing records) or in the normal mode (collect new records) It sounds like the issue is caused by the latest 3.14 release. If you have not republished the survey with the latest 3.14 Survey123 Connect/Survey123 website yet, can you please try the two options " Use the version the survey was published with (<a previous version>)" and " Always use the latest version (3.14) " in Settings->Version on the Survey123 website, to see if the issue only exists in the 3.14 version web app? Thanks, Zhifang
