Hi @ScottHiggins_PVGIS , Would you mind sharing how your users sign in to the private survey from the Experience Builder app before this issue occurs? Do they need to open another tab to sign in the survey first and switch back to the app page? In addition, we had a potential fix for this issue on the Survey123 Beta website. Can you please help test it out? You need to replace your survey URL from https://survey123.arcgis.com/share/... to https://survey123beta.arcgis.com/share/...

Did all your dashboards with surveys embedded work well (you and your org members can both access the survey) before the Survey123 update on 3/22? Are all dashboards cannot work for your org members or only some of them? Are the embedded surveys and all your team members in the same org with you or either of them is outside your org? Do you use ArcGIS Dashboard in ArcGIS Enterprise (if yes, which version?) or in ArcGIS Online?

Hi @TylerBragg2 , Thanks for the update. Using a view layer instead of the source layer directly is always a good practice (you can find more details in this white paper). Also, Sync capability is not necessary for submitting a survey. If you observe any issues further, please let us know.

@Anonymous User , Can you please provide some more information to help us locate the issue? "not edit existing..." - does this error occur when clicking the Submit button or just loading the survey? Are you observing any error messages in your app? (If the error message is not "You do not have permission to access this resource or perform this operation.", it probably is not related to this issue thread). If yes, would you please take a screenshot with the browser developer tools open? Are you using the Embed widget to embed the survey or another approach? What is the survey URL with all parameters you are using? You can replace the survey ID or other sensitive contents, the URL pattern help us understand the issue Thanks,

If you still observe any other issues, please let us know (you can create a separate post if it is not the same as below). If a private (non-publicly shared) survey is embedded in a dashboard via the embedded content element or embedded in Experience Builder app via the Embed widget, "You do not have permission to access this resource or perform this operation." error occurs.

After the update to the Survey123 website on 3/22 PDT, we identified this issue: if a private (non-publicly shared) survey is embedded in a dashboard via the embedded content element or embedded in Experience Builder app via the Embed widget, "You do not have permission to access this resource or perform this operation." error occurs. A potential fix has been applied and we are evaluating it on the Survey123 Beta website. @mdg , The second screenshot Failed to execute.png indicates that this error actually exists in the Enterprise/Portal, the Survey123 website only utilizes the same export approach in Enterprise. If you can export other formats such as File GeoDatabase, you may need another conversion from GDB to .xlsx as a workaround. Since this issue may only occur in a specific version of Enterprise, can you please raise a ticket to Esri Support Service?
