"Can you share an mxd that exhibits this issue?" Yes...and no....I'd have to put some time into reconstructing something that I can share publicly...or with a TS analyst. I'm noticing that this only happens on layers where the symbology fails to import correctly: if the symbology (non-complex) imports, than the correct label engine is applied......

For example, this complex line layer, when added to Pro 1.3.1, looks like this: I've tried deleting and re-configuring the symbology, same effect every time. Yes, latest video card driver is installed. This only happens on AGOL layers where "Optimize Layer Drawing" is enabled, if I pull this from the source (say a FGDB on a network share, same data), it doesn't happen.

Both. Was kinda hopin' to use Pro and publish this as a vector tile layer. Customization is scale-specific, many scales, with different placement options at each scale, as well as vector/bitmap font substitutions for some layers.

Yeah, took me a while to find that as well. Looks like on import of a MXD with existing Maplex labeling, it converts it to standard labeling. I manually updated on of my layers to revert back to the Maplex style I originally had, and WOW, was it slow! I'm used to a performance hit for using Maplex, but the performance hit in Pro is basically "so much it's unusable".

I have a number of mxd-projects where I have put a significant amount of time into label placement using the Maplex engine. Tried importing these into Pro, with horrible results, as Pro includes only the basic label placement options. When will this feature be available in Pro?

I may be wrong on this, but it should be the same IP range that Windows Update uses, as WU, and many other "Updates" come from AmazonCloud. So if your IT blocks AGOL, they'll block Windows Update, which would be kind of hilarious as well as ironic.

One of the problems I'm dealing with is people coming into our shop with existing My Esri accounts and a training history, e.g. from college, and they want to keep that training history or add to it as they're in the org. Sending the invite to their non-corporate email that is associated with that existing account throws a monkey wrench into the auto-enable all org users workflow. Then we have to tell them that their AGOL login is different then their My Esri login and heads start to unscrew.....BTW I'm a big fan of the new workflow in principal, but it has put quite a burden on administrators. Lots of kinks need to be worked out, and there's a lot of caveats to how org users access AGOL and E-learning that don't fit in this one-size-fits-all box.

Happened again yesterday, when we did a demo to our workforce on how to access and navigate e-learning. Was slow/not working all morning, and fine in the afternoon. I'l reiterate, the first thing I checked was our trunk connection, emphasis on all other traffic/sites checked out fine, so the problem is not our infrastructure.
