No. Before you "go offline", one needs to take the data with you. Not seeing any way to create a disconnected copy of a feature service in pro, so can work with it offline.

Am I missing something? What happened to the "Create Local Copy for Editing"? We're heavily dependent in Arc Map on the ability to Create a Local Copy for Editing of a Feature Service due to a poor network connection to our remote server farm. I see direct editing on a feature service is available, and working, but is mind-numbingly slow (10 minutes to post a single edit) in our network environment. Surely the "Create Local Copy for Editing" tool is just well hidden in Pro (as is its documentation), I can't possibly fathom how the Pro developers thought that Pro users would not need disconnected editing?

Yes. If that permission issue was the case here, than the problem would be permanent. This is randomly, and intermittently occurring. For no reason, and always happens when there have been no configuration changes.

If only it were that easy. We can't even edit the Trusted Sites in IE, (nor turn off the Enterprise Mode). Chrome is equally locked down. Air raid sirens would go off in the concrete bunker if I tried rolling back a chrome version.

The problem is, WAB has to connect to PTL or AGOL to work, so trunking the WAB traffic off the NIC to loopback wouldn't work. Regardless, we had two non-negotiable, not-subject-to-any-discussion choices: remove WAB, or, fix the Node vulnerability. Good thing there's a new version of Node that has all of the holes patched. Otherwise WAB would be gone and I'd be learning java script....

Unable to share a lot of details, but running the "un-secure" version of Node.js on workstations that are developing the apps triggered some alarms. The way Node is run with WAB developer it opens a lot of http/https sockets that came to the attention of a scanner. So the issue is not with the app that WAB produces, but with WAB itself.
