Enhanced coordinate locator. We're using a Flex one posted some time ago in the Gallery (not the one by you, link is long lost). For a public safety application, we have a requirement to enable web map users to search by coordinates in DD.DDD, DD MM SS, DD.mmmm, and UTM (cell phone pings), as well as identify a location on a web map and be able to copy those coordinates from mouse click for dispatch to EM teams or helo pilots. Since ESRI announced the sunset of Flex, and with release of the Web App Builder, there is SOME of that functionality out of the box but it doesn't meet EM needs. The Flex one allows users to accomplish this with either a mouse click, or a right-mouse click. Additional steps or complexity doesn't work for them, as you can imagine, emergency management often doesn't allow the time for non-technical users pull out their trigonometry book and convert DD.DDD to DD MM SS. I've tried rolling up my sleeves and creating such a Widget but I am no java programmer and can't even get a custom theme to work.

Yes, I can (eventually) get the map and layer on the device. the problem is syncing back. In further testing, the sync-to-portal works almost all of the time on an Iphone 5s with the latest Ios, this is not working at all on an Ipad Air (same OS). Have eliminated the wireless being at fault as I get the same exact results (success on phone, failure on ipad) at work, home, and starbucks wireless.

Here's what I'm seeing in the server log. Seems like syncing is starting, and a success message is reported, but the device isn't so convinced..... Which one, ArcGIS (Set to 1800 alreaday) or Portal? Even with 1800, I'm seeing this error at 2-3 minutes into the attempt. I've tried different wireless points and channels, getting good signal strength at 5 mbs. Happens on Ipad and Iphone. Other than this issue though, portal working great, these new releases are getting much better.

Following these exact instructions for taking a map offline, I am unable to perform the map download operation in Collector (IoS). I have successfully: Published a FS with Sync-Enabled; Tested CRUD operations in the FS through SDE Direct Connect, FS Local-copy editing in desktop, Editing through Portal, Editing in collector WITHOUT taking it offline; Created a map with the AGOL tiled base map and the FS layer per Take maps offline—Collector for ArcGIS | ArcGIS. Have a valid and active AGOL for Organizations Account, as well as a Portal instance. Upon selecting "Download Map" in collector, the following error occurs: Unable to Download the Map the operation couldn't be completed .(NSURLErrorDomain error -1001.). The Map is on Portal for ArcGIS 10.2.2...the FS is hosted on a separate, and Non-Federated ArcGIS Server 10.2.2. As explained above, communication between all pieces here seem to work, and I can edit in every scenario EXCEPT for taking it offline. What could be the problem here?

I am having the same exact problem. I can query raster properties successfully, but raster.getValueByLoc(1,1,-83.458047,35.713469) FROM [dbo].[GRSM30DEM] Returns the same error. i made a very simple Web app in my Organization AGOL account following instructions exactly as per Export as template—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Beta) | ArcGIS . According to Download app—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Beta) | ArcGIS "The app created by Web AppBuilder can be downloaded and hosted on your web server." Again, following the instruction exactly, I get to " On the item detail page, scroll down to the Properties, and Code Attachment. Click the Download. A ZIP file named webappviewer will be downloaded to your computer" There is NO CODE attachment. What am I missing here? Are the ESRI instructions wrong? Missing step? Is it possible to create a template in WAB for AGOL and download it for use in an instance of Portal which is behind a firewall?

Is clip and ship possible with a map service? Following the tutorial, it appears you can publish a clip and ship GP service, but it will only work with Arc Map layers (SDE, FGDB layer, etc...) and not a Map/Feature Service. Is that correct? We'd like to be able to publish a clip and ship that allowes users to extract data from a web map. If this is possible, are there any configuration examples? Not finding any on ERSI web site.

Thanks. I might be interested in any code samples you've put in the gallery to that effect. Extremely frustrated with all of the "push" to migrate to Portal/AGOL, yet even the most basic of simple functionality requires hiring a programmer to implement. Grrrrr.....

that answer was quite confusing. Are related tables supported in the current version of Portal for ArcGIS, yes or no? Can one publish a feature service and add it to Portal, and allow users to see content from related tables when the feature service is added to a map?

I'm not seeing it either. I've tried every combination of map and feature services, from SDE to FGDB, cannot find anywhere to enable related records viewing in Portal. That surely can't be by design....? ESRI? Sure would be nice if someone could respond to this, let us know if this is another one of those "Enhancements".

Any update on "Yes we are working on tools that will help bring the data on your device to a fgdb and it then can be merged into a master database.". Collector's a great tool in the testing that we've done, unfortunately, I don't see any way we can use it operationally if we have to hang feature services outside of a firewall to work with AGOL or spend $$$$ on secure wirelss to Portal for Org.
