This is an old thread, but for those of you that are still interested this is still occurring at 4.x (4.22), at least when using @RobertScheitlin__GISP 's print widget in the ExB dev edition 1.7 in Chrome and Edge . . . Thought you might want to know @Anonymous User

Thanks @RobertScheitlin__GISP . After testing, I would agree this is likely a print service issue that began some time ago with certain basemaps in the WAB. The default print services are continuing to not handle the vector tile basemaps with any consistency. I initially used the default service in your config from sample server 6, changed it again to the default arcgisonline utility print service, and finally my own federated servers' print service at 10.9.1. All produced not-good-results; some better, some worse depending on the basemap . . . These samples are about the best I can get with my own print service and my own vector tile basemap:

Thanks for the reply @DaveFullerton1 . I suspected as much. I thought that perhaps with the December update that had changed, but alas that is not the case. At least I can stop beating my head against the wall on this. Agreed re future versions and layer source as output . . .

Hi Robert - thought I'd let you know I plugged in the widget into dev 1.7. Seems to still work well, only there is a strange behavior with clustered point layers, in that if a point layer is clustered, the base map will not print out completely under the cluster: My deployment thus far: https://ags3.scgov.net/gisdataexp/

Hi @ShengdiZhang - I'm sorry but it's just not working. Perhaps because the layer source output is from a polygon feature layer? Here, you can see that I have a layer source set in my search widget, and the search does in fact return the selected record as graphic on the map: However, the feature layer (or it's result) continues to not be available as an Output for consumption by the Query widget: I've been working on this off and on for months. The screen shots above are from the developer edition 1.7. But the same behavior exists in online. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great. Maybe @Jianxia or @RobertScheitlin__GISP ?

Hello - Is there no way to display arcade expressions as fields for/in a layers' table in the new Map Viewer? I have a couple of expressions, and while they show as available fields for the popup, they are not available for the attribute table. They of course show in Map Viewer Classic. Sadly then they are also not available as attributes from source for Experience Builder widgets like List and Table. My guess is it's still a 4.x functionality limit . . . Thanks, David

Thank you for this @ErikLash1 . That is a lot to take in and take under advisement and will be super helpful to pass on to my security team - IIS monitoring on the server hosting web adaptor will be in their realm. Our 10.9.1 distributed deployment resides behind an F5, and they tend to be very aggressive in terms of port and log scans as it is. I myself actively monitor performance and error logs through Monitor for the entire deployment and have yet to see anything like a resource hit or unusual errors or calls like you describe.

More questions: Can anyone to date verify that their system (on-premises base or distributed deployment) has in fact been exploited by this? How would we know, what would an exploit look like? Finally, what is the specific version of python 3.5.x that should be installed on datastore?

I guess so. I have the exact same issue. Default backup every 4 days, Retain for 7 days. I'm glad you posted this because I didn't even know I had to restart the data store service after making a change. Nowhere in the Data Store command reference utility help does it mention that critical piece of info. I guess it was assumed we all knew that.... But I can say that even with that policy in place, the backups are not deleted even after the 31 days. For us, we are usually applying windows updates to our servers on the third Wednesday of the month. When the server restarts ( and thus restarting the data store service) the backups are deleted. But this December windows updates were not applied I am now sitting with 2 months of backups. So my guess is, at least for our deployment, the data store service has to be stopped and started (or re-started) for the lock to be released so the backups can delete....

Hello - We have a hosted transit stop layer that contains attachments. I maintain a feature layer view of this layer for symbology reasons. At 10.9 and earlier, when I overwrote the hosted layer, the layer view maintained (showed, displayed) attachments. At 10.9.1 when I overwrite the hosted layer, the layer view does not maintain access to the attachments. The attachment relate is still there, as the data grid on the layer view data page does show the 'Photos and Files' attribute. Instead, Monitor reports back the following: Hosted/BusStopView5/FeatureServer: Database error has occurred. Hosted/BusStopView5/FeatureServer: 0 : ERROR: relation "hsu_ghjw3.busstop_busstops__attach_2" does not exist Position: 246 So, it looks like each time the host layer is overwritten, access to the photo attachment is not found in the datastore. If anyone else has seen this and can confirm that would be great. @JonEmch

I commented THIS WEEK on this here: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-enterprise-questions/enterprise-portal-10-9-1-post-upgrade-time/m-p/1125249#M31876 All of our other portal post-upgrade step from 10.6 to 10.6.1; from 10.6.1 to 10.7,; from 10.7 to 10.7.1 and so on each took about 4 hours. Fairly reasonable with a few hundred hosted feature layers and some 18k total items. This time, I gambled and killed the post-upgrade after 8 hours. I believe it was hung up but I really don't know. I DO KNOW that for all future Enterprise upgrades, I will not try to complete it on a single Sunday, but give myself an entire weekend. There is nothing more nerve-wracking than waiting for that step to complete, knowing that I still have to apply 2 hosting server upgrade and post upgrade, web adaptor, 2 data stores, and 2 federated servers. This was the first time I delayed updating the federated site.
