I'm not sure why your features are disappearing at large scales, but you might want to look at the sticky move tolerance in the editor options. It keeps things from moving around when selecting features.

Thanks for the tip Allison. I have downloaded the solution and deployed it using the ArcGIS Solutions Deployment Tool to test it out, but I was hoping for more detail rather than just a field noting whether the restaurant was in or out of compliance. We want to keep track of individual code references and score the inspection based on the severity of the code violation (priority, priority foundation, and core) and be able to show all violations with corrective text and notes on a public facing map. Survey123 makes this possible through relevance tests and selection lists and calculations.

JTedrick-esristaff, what is the time frame for the Sum and Count functions to be available? I was hoping to be able to get a count on some of my repeat questions to calculate a running score for the whole survey. Since you can set a maximum number of repeats they are being counted somewhere, how can i get to that count?

Do I update the table by republishing the survey? I thought republishing the survey wiped out the associated feature service and related tables. The table is a csv in the survey folder.

Greetings, I am working on a restaurant inspection form for our health department. In discussions of what the form would look like it was mentioned that it would be handy to enter the permit number and have the header info pre-populated (establishment name, address etc.). I was able to get this to work in a test environment using the table of restaurants but after reading this blog by JTedrick-esristaff I see that it isn't wise to use a table that is updated frequently. Our table of restaurants will be updated somewhat frequently. My question is this - Is this a deal breaker? Can I still use my table but time the updates so that the inspectors will have the most up to date table and not lose any of the inspections they have done? Thanks, Jeff Ward Summit County, Utah

Ah, I didn't think about that. How many editors will be editing the data? Could you give each one their own GenerateID table with a unique range of IDs or a text portion to the ID showing who the editor was? Then later you can strip out the text portion?

Joe, I don't think you need to have it in the same location. The add-in checks the table of contents for the two tables so you could have them stored wherever you like. The only downside is probably as you are tweaking the DynamicValue table to get the right results. You would have to stop editing your enterprise data and start editing the workspace with the two tables. You could copy the edit data into the same workspace until you have it dialed in and then start editing the real data. Jeff

I am attempting to create a community events map that has a filter which excludes events that have already happened. I was able to create a filter that shows events not in the last 24 months, but this filter excludes events that are happening that day - I would like the events that are currently happening to be shown on the map. Is there any way to get a filter setting that would modify the "after" operator and allow you to make a selection like "today", or create a new operator that would be "after and including" with selections like "today" and "yesterday"?

I believe they changed the information model a couple of years ago to accommodate the Address Data Management map template. With that template the workflow for adding new addresses is you click once on the access point on the centerline then click on the center of the parcel or on top of the building. The Attribute Assistant then fills in all of the fields for you. It does this by getting the house number by calculating where the first point you clicked is on the centerline using the range for that segment and side of the centerline. It fills in the full road name using a master street name table. It then concatenates the house number with the full street name to get the full address. I think that they no longer parse out the street name because that is done in the master street name table and any locators you would use with these points would only index the full address. Why build indexes for multiple fields when you have everything in one field? Using the master street name table reduces errors when you create address points. The above workflow works for new addresses but if you are creating points for existing addresses that method doesn't work because the house number the workflow comes up with may be different than the house number that already exists. I set up the Attribute Assistant to get the house number from my parcel layer that had the house number in a field. I then used a nearest feature method in the Attribute Assistant to get the street name. Sometimes this would get the wrong street if the address point is for a corner lot - and I think that is why they set up the workflow the way they did to eliminate that error. Scott Oppmann can probably explain this better than I.

I have had problems with locators returning no results because the locator requires a zone. I fix this by going to the locator properties and expanding the "Geocoding Options" section and change the "Match with no zones" line to Yes. Then I am able to get the locator to find addresses. But it sounds like your address data uses zones so I don't know if that will help.

What happened to the Planarize button that used to be on the Parcel Details dialog? I just upgraded to 10.4.1 and went to use it today and I noticed it was gone. How do I get it back? I can find the button in the commands list in the customize dialog but where do I put it to get it on the Parcel Details dialog?
