Hi Filip, What kind of difficulties do you run into? Have you tried not updating the cache automatically, and then manually starting caching once the service has been overwritten?

My guess is that it probably has something to do with the number of colours supported. Have you tried my suggestion for putting a polygon (covering the extent of the image) behind the image and changing the colour to white? This is what I use for situations like this. It should solve the issue.

Hi Nick, Can you take a screen shot of the before (raw) and after (cache with transparency)? That should be enough to get an idea of what is happening. Is there a reason you are using PNG8? Imagery will easily contain over 256 colours, meaning that PNG8 is probably not the best option for the tile format. Also, according to this help Available map and image cache properties—Documentation (10.3 and 10.3.1) | ArcGIS for Server , it seems that if there is a pixel with NoData (probably hard to see by eyeing the imagery) it may cause the entire cache tile to be transparent. "This setting determines what output image format the map service will use when it creates the tiles. Your choice of image format is important, because it determines the size on disk of the tiles, the image quality, and the ability to make the tile background transparent."

Hi Nicholas, Can you provide images from the raw imagery and the cache for the same area with the transparency. PNG will cache with a transparency, so if there are areas of no data it could cause an issue. Two options I can see here to solve the issue: 1) Use JPEG for the cache format, as there is no transparency 2) Instead of changing the data frame colour, create a polygon with the same extent/boundary as the imagery, place it under the imagery in the table of contents, and change the colour to white (no outline). This will be read as "data" and will not allow for transparency to occur where the polygon exists.

Hi Justin, You can put two iterators in a single model if they both in separate models to begin with. Create two models, each with an iterator, then use model 1 as a sub-model within model 2. You can find more information here: Integrating a model within a model—Help | ArcGIS for Desktop

Hi Ahmad, Do you have Sync enabled under the Feature Access operations? Editing in Desktop requires that you make a local file geodatabase for editing and syncing the changes - ArcGIS Help 10.1 . I think this also means your data must have versioning enabled from what I am reading here - 00184: Layer is not configured for or cannot be used with the Sync capability—Documentation (10.3 and 10.3.1) | ArcGIS…

Here are the steps I followed to re-create the issue... 1) In ArcGIS Pro, right-click the layer and choose Share as Web Layer - > Publish - ex; Published service called Buildings_v1 2) In ArcGIS Online under My Content, click the feature layer Buildings_v1. Then choose Open -> Add layer to map. 3) In ArcGIS Pro, select a layer and choose to Overwrite Web Layer 4) In the dialog, select the feature layer to overwrite (ex; Buildings_v1) 5) Publish 6) In ArcGIS Online under My Content, click the feature layer Buildings_v1. Then choose Open -> Add layer to map. At this point, you're saying you cannot see the changes, correct? Is this similar to your workflow? I'm not sure where you are changing the name of the service. Overwriting the service requires you to maintain the same service name, and Pro prevents you from editing it from what I can see. This could be part of the reason you are running into problems.
