Have you tried to log an incident with ESRI tech support to see if this is possible? I would be interested in hearing how this goes as my org is trying to use more non-on premise services such as Soils instead of hosting the data on our servers, which gets stale over time.

Have the posters here already transitioned from ESRIs original licensing model of Creator and Viewer accounts only? Does ESRI not allow you to determine how many of each category of user you can purchase?

How about a truncate and append of feature classes in the FGDB so the services would not need to be stopped?

Hi Shana: I investigated your proposed solution which would not work without an enormous amount of work and create a maintenance issue when new address points are added to address point layer that is the source of the address locator. Currently the Create Address Locator has an xml file that can handle converting input street suffix type from La, Ln, Lan, Lne, and Lane to La so they have equivalent match score. In order to replicate this behavior in Create Locator I would need an alternate name table to have all 5 suffix types for all address points that have La as their current street suffix type. This same setup would need to be applied to other address points as well with different street suffix types (e.g. Rd should be converted from Rd, Road; Bl should be converted from Bl, Blvd, Boulevard; etc). The alternate name table for this locator would be unwieldly and new roads added that have address points associated with it would need all the alternate names added for each new point.

Not sure if this would be a consideration for you when making major changes to feature layers. Are these feature layers being used in web maps and web apps that are older (e.g. Web AppBuilder)? As such, you might consider rebuilding the web map and especially the web app in a newer architecture such as Experience Builder while you are making changes to the supporting services that sort of break the web maps and web apps?

This is based on my experiences in ArcMap with a similar type issue when publishing services. I have not yet encountered this issue in Pro. I would record the mxd file size of the orginal file and the copied file and many times this operation drastically reduced the size of the mxd which was holding onto unused items. This would be a check you could do in comparing file sizes of the aprx files.

Have you tried to perform a Save As Copy in Pro to clean up the project? I used this technique in ArcMap to remove ghost layers that were no longer in ArcMap as they had been deleted but there was still a reference to the data source buried in the mxd.

Hello Community: I would like to import MySQL data into ArcGIS Pro, but it is currently failing using a 64-bit MySQL Connector with an ODBC Connection. I have added a new OLE DB Connection using the MySQL ODBC 64-bit connection I created on the machine. I open up the database connection in Pro's Catalog Pane and I can see all the tables in the view. I then right click on the table in the Catalog Pane and choose Add to Current Map. When I right click on the table in the map's Content pane, I get the error "An invalid field name was used in a query string (0x80040204)." Does anyone know why this would be occurring and how I can get past this error?
