What format of the update data are you trying to use (geojson, zipped file geodatabase, shapefile, etc.)? As a test, can you create a test hosted feature layer and just try to add a subset of records to AGOL, maybe 2K records, and see if that works any better. I have a much smaller data set (14K records) which using a manual update approach in AGOL took only about 1 minute. ... View more

If you are unable to get this to work, would you be able to store the images on your network and include a field that would allow you to populate an HTML link to the image location? The way I do this type of workflow requires a web server where you can create a virtual directory to the folder location of the images. ... View more
