Ciara: At my org, we have found some polyline feature layers in AGOL do not get successfully exported to a file gdb.  The problematic polyline feature layers do not have any attachments. Can you try a Save A Copy on the file before updating the database connections?  If you compare the file sizes of the mxds, it usually is much less in the copy as this operation appears to clean out items from the mxd that are not being used. ... View more

By default you should see the layer name and 1 field below the title that defaults to first field or first field with Name in field name.
