When opening Power BI, a login prompt appears for ArcGIS Online (AGOL). We hit cancel, then proceed to log into our Enterprise Portal through the ArcGIS connector widget.
Previously, we were able to select and display our custom basemap imagery without issues.
Now the basemap imagery no longer displays for most users.
The following error message appears in Power BI: "The basemap is unavailable or has been deleted from the server. Sign in from another visual then reset the map."
On my computer, the basemap still displays correctly.
Most other users encounter the error.
When I try opening Power BI in a private browser window or in Power BI Desktop, I also get the error.
No changes have been made to the basemap in the past week.
User permissions do not appear to be the issue since I also receive the error in private browsing mode.
We are experiencing the same behavior, started occurring in recent months, previously org shared imagery services were displaying as expected in published dashboards. Replying to follow the thread, we're also logging a case with ESRI support.
