Hi Simon & Brian, I am looking to do the same thing - pull data from the BoM FTP site to GeoEvent. Did you find a way to do without downloading the xml files? Any tips would be great, we have only just installed a dev version of GeoEvent & I am trying to demonstrate it's use to the business. Inga

Hi Meg, Did you ever find a solution to this one? We are evaluating the Park Locator but it doesn't seem to have all the functionality we need so looking to replicate using web app builder (however I am a newbie to that ). Any pointers you can provide would be gratefully received Cheers Inga

The Search function in the Park Locator App has suddenly stopped working - e.g http://tryitlive.arcgis.com/ParkandRecLocator/ Has anyone else found this? I have a demo today to try to convince our communications team to implement this app on our external website, however with this search function suddenly stopping working & this is not a good look. Any ideas why? the Geocode service works in ArcMap just not in the App. I have contacted support but told me it is not supported?? Thanks Inga

I would like to be able to set the size of pop-ups in the AGOL web map. I am using an embedded AGOL web map in a web page zoomed to a feature (which opens the pop-up) but half of the pop up is off the map. I need to be able to make it smaller.

I have loaded two tile package basemaps (.tpk) files to my iPad via cable/iTunes. I can then access these as basemaps in offline mode and switch between them using the basemaps icon. Is this what you are wanting to do?

Hi there I am hoping for a little help if you may... My workflow is: Add a hosted layer from our AGOL account into ArcMap desktop, create a local copy for editing, then run a model builder process on this layer. I then want to overwrite the input layer to the model builder process with the output, so that I can then sync the edited layer back to the cloud. I can't figure out how to do this in my Model. Can anybody help? Thanks in advance Inga

I was also wracking my brain, and figured out I had a dbf file attached to my mxd. Once I removed that the error went away. Hope it helps someone! Thanks Frank! You helped me. I had the error, checked for dbfs and found I had some csvs in the mxd. Once I removed them the service published. I appreciate the time you took to write your solution on the forum. Cheers, Inga

From the concepts/Temporal Data page on the Flex resource center: "If you want to visualize features for an instant in time, set the thumb count to one and specify that createTimeInstant equals true" Is that what you are after?

I have a time layer with slider - what I want to do is fade in and out the observations so it is a smooth animation - can anyone help me out with this? I need each time extent to represent one time instance, but to fade in and out nicely. (I have played around with TemporalRenderers but can't seem to get the effect I need.) Any help much appreciated!
