Hi, I have a point layer in an online map that is symbolized by "point type" and I would like the label in the symbology to display both the point type and a second attribute "point condition". How would I go about doing this? Thank you.

Thanks Doug. That is what I concluded after trial and error yesterday. I think I also discovered a way to insert that note into the thank you screen, but the URL will not be hyperlinked unless I am missing something. I want to make sure that folks do not forget to click the submit button so may hide the note until the thank you screen... If all that works, my next step will be to figure out how to use a web hook to send the submitter an email summary of the info that they submitted, including the web page address. If you happen to know how to do that as well, I would appreciate any info you can provide.

Hi, I would like to create a survey with a set of questions that lead the form entry person to a specific web page that is determined by the form data. Possibly some type of hidden calculation connection to a webhook? Or a custom thank you screen based on survey input? For example, the form would collect information about project proposals and would ask for information about the type of project, for example: built infrastructure social services research and the size of the project, for example: < $5,000 $5,000 - $50,000 > $50,000 I would like the combination of the form data (e.g. built infrastructure & <$5,000, or research & >$50,000) to lead the form entry person to a web page that provides information that is tailored to specific circumstances. Is this something that you have seen done before? Any advice appreciated. b

Hi, I would appreciate help with how to use Survey123 connect to collect information on the percentage breakdown for an organization's annual revenue and expenses and then be able to display that information in a pie chart. Happy to use an alternate approach to percentages, such as actual dollar estimates, but would appreciate some advice on how to combine this breakdown into a single question that would translate well to a pie chart. For example: Question 1: What is your average annual revenue? Question 2: What percent of your revenue derives from: Grants Services Sales Rentals and Leases Investments Question 3: What is your average total expense each year? Question 4: What percent of your expenses derives from: Payroll Rent Services Equipment Electricity Heat Office Supplies Food Other Thanks!

Hi, I am building a web map to share information about projects occurring in a number of communities throughout our region. The hosted feature layer is being created and updated via survey 123 and it is a point type with locations deriving from zip codes. When we have multiple projects with the same zip code the points cover each other up. I see that clustering enables the viewer to see that there are multiple points at the same location, but it is not clear to me how to let the viewer know that the points represent multiple types of projects, and it is not clear to me how to give the viewer the option to learn more about each project. I see I can enable popups for the cluster of points but would appreciate some help on how to make the popup more informative. I would like the popup to summarize. Total number of projects Pie chart of project dollars by project type Clickable link to learn more about each specific project It looks like this should be doable, but I would appreciate some help with expressions or other means to achieve the above. Or other suggestions for how to allow a viewer to interact and learn about information in overlapping points.

Hi Philip, I appreciate your solution but that was no exactly what I was looking for. My question was about how to get an image in a note question to scale to fill the screen of all devices, not the map or image questions. Sorry if my post was not clear to begin. Though your solution was not my solution, it did give me enough of a clue to dig into survey 123 connect where I noticed that the header note, which scales images as I was hoping to do with other note questions in the form, uses the media::image column to reference the image in the note and that seems to scale things the way I want without using the body::esri:style column. I would add for those who are searching for a similar solution, it is probably worth reducing the size of the image that is included in the media folder to be no wider or taller than your target devices might benefit from. Thanks again for putting me on the path. b

Hi, I am hoping to include an image of an map in my survey 123 form as a reference for a multiple choice list. I found the insert image button (in the note question) easy enough and uploaded an image. All looks well in the preview mode for each device, but when I publish and download the form to my phone, the image does not fit the device screen and is mostly not visible. What are the tricks to insert an image (in the note question) that will fit each of the screens sizes we commonly find in phones, tablets and desktop computers? I did not find any options in the web form creator that would control image scaling. Is this possible using survey 123 connect? (short answer is yes on survey 123 connect, and I think that is the only option at this point) Thank you. b

Very helpful post Alfred. Thanks very much. I am going to dig into this approach tomorrow. I googled up an adobe plugin for ArcGIS that I am also going to take a look at and will report anything promising there. In the short term I may have to just embed and image in the form and use a multiple choice list below because I am on a tight schedule. Thanks again. b

This looks helpful Ryan, though I may need it to to work in an offline environment and I have not researched experience building functionality in this regard. I do need all three roads but not necessarily the geometry for this case, just the road names. For this project, I would like our form users to be able to select up to 5 road segments out of 25 and have that data passed to a multiple choice question in survey 123. I am currently investigating how to do that using an .svg approach but would much prefer using a web map that can be made available offline. b

Hi, I would like to include a map in a survey 123 form that we can use to gather data on the popularity of roads near a community. Is it possible to include a map of roads and allow folks to do something like select their top 3 most used road segments? I see there may be an option to do this using an .svg but was hoping that this could be done with a map document so I could avoid the process of converting to an .svg and then editing the .svg to include a bunch of mapped areas around each road, but I will go that way if necessary. If .svg is the only option, hoping for some advice for my scenario if you have similar experience. For example, can someone point me to a tutorial workflow that might include illustrator and or photoshop for how to export a map with polylines that I can convert to an .svg that has the proper paths for each line feature to utilize as an image map for survey 123? b

Hi, I have a DEM and a polyline (creek). I would like to transfer DEM attributes such as slope and elevation to the polyline so I can symbolize the line based on elevation and slope classes. Hoping someone can help me with the process for achieving this goal. I have used the interpolate shape tool in the 3D analyst toolbox and can now click on individual vertices in an edit session and see x, y and z attributes, but I do not see this info in the attribute table and cannot symbolize by anything but shape length. The attribute table just shows one feature. Is it necessary to split the polyline first? Thanks for your help. b
