Hi, I am working with Arcgis Pro 2.1.2 and I am in layout mode. I would like to learn how to fit the map frame to fill 100% of the layout page. I understand that I can manually drag the vertices of each side but I am hoping there is a single click option. If there is not single click option, how do I turn snapping on or off in the layout mode to assist with this? Thank you. b

Hi Appreciate this thread but I am unable to turn off multiple items in the legend using Shift/Cntrl in the same way I can turn off multiple items in the map layers. I am using version 2.1.2. Thanks!

Thanks Wendy, and sorry for the slow reply. I have been working on other things long enough I do not know what I was doing wrong before. I believe I followed the same steps before but each time I dragged and dropped the leader anchor point it just snapped back to the position it snapped to when I created it. I had deleted the previous callout and did not experience the same issue when I started from scratch after your post so as far as I can tell it is working well. I will pipe back in here if this issue comes up again for me. b

Hi, I am hoping for some help on how to control where a leader starts for a text balloon callout. In this case, I am just labeling by inserting a text rectangle then right clicking on the text rectangle and selecting add leader. I see the leader is created but I am unable to move the vertex to the correct anchor point. How do I accurately establish the anchor point for the leader? b

Hi Chris, I wish I could get this to work in the raster calculator because it would save me the step that Steve provided below but I have been unable to get union of inputs, display extent or selection of the data layer with the full extent to work. Maybe there is a different operator necessary in the calculator that would be the equivalent of the ignore nodata param in the cell statistics tool?

Hi, I would like to add together the values of two rasters to get a new raster with combined values for each cell. There are a few areas where the rasters do not overlap and I would like for the values to be retained from one of the two rasters in areas where only one raster has values. Currently, when I use the raster calculator to add these two rasters together, the areas where there is no overlap are dropped from the result of the new raster. Any help appreciated. b

I can't help a lot with the crystal ball but the last time I compared VM to bootcamp, VM was not even close. So it seems that if you get a new machine, no matter the specs. you should still start using the bootcamp approach. b

I watched the tutorial but did not learn anything new. I guess I am confused because I thought the purpose of sharing a map is that I can create a map that includes vector and raster data, then share it to arcgis online. I can share individual layers and then reassemble the map online but that does not seem like the most efficient way to get from arcgis pro to arcgis online. What is the point of the share a map button if I have to split out all the layers then reassemble in arcgis online? Attempting to publish as a web imagery layer but still no joy. https://ssp-community.maps.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=b9abf687c219446ca36f9ae0ba69c652

I will watch the tutorial. I have reviewed the help files but I feel like I am still missing some details. It explains how to split layers, for example, but does not tell me why I would do this. Analyzing does not report any errors but I am wondering if grouped layers are not supported... The images below are from a current test that involved splitting layers. Not done uploading that one yet... Previous attempts have otherwise had the same configs. Here are the screen grabs in the meantime.

Hi, I have an arcgis pro project that I would like to convert to an arcgis online map so I can share it with colleagues. I have tried to do this via the share tab and the web map button but the resultant online map does not support turning layers on and off. I have not been able to figure out what I am doing wrong and so turn to the community for some pointers. I have several groups of layers in the table of contents and the map includes both raster and vector layers. Any help appreciated. b

Another thing that has been recommended is to create a special filter in gmail to store these kinds of tips in. Thanks again Dan. b

Thanks for holding my hand on these questions Dan. I really need to take a class in map algebra. Is it possible to store these handy expressions somewhere in arctoolbox or something? b

Hi, I have combined two rasters and ended up with some slivers of nodata. I would like to fill those cells in with neighboring values. I have tried this expression in the raster calculator: Con(IsNull("raster"), FocalStatistics("raster", NbrRectangle(5,5, "CELL"), "MEAN"), "raster") but that results in new values; i assume the mean of the 5,5 window values. Can I modify this expression to replace mean with something that does not result in new values? Just want the most common neighboring value to get assigned to the nodata areas. Thanks!
