Wow, that's so weird. Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I'll look at the workaround you mentioned. Thanks again. -Langdon

4 years later and this is still helpful! My issue was number 1). I had to copy the connection file referencing a specific version to my server, then registered data base via that connection file and the source was recognized. Thanks Derek Law!

We are going to explore this option and I'll report back what we implement. We may end up setting an expiring cache rather than prohibiting them completely.

Is there a way to force Web App Builder to not store app data or to clear it regularly? Troubleshooting WAB often involves clearing the browser cache. This is not ideal for multiple users, sites, and permissions. A recent example is layers not showing in the table of contents and other odd behavior until the cache is cleared. Ideally we want users to view the application as if they were in "Incognito Mode" Ideas We currently deploy apps through the WAB developer edition in Portal so we are able to make changes to configuration files, add code as needed, or change web server settings. Is there a setting in the WAB configuration files to achieve this result such as through headers or the manifest? Perhaps this could be accomplished through the web server? Your thoughts are appreciated. Thanks.

Is there a way to know which features did not geocode correctly on ArcGIS Online? When adding addresses to a map on ArcGIS Online, the prompt indicates how many but not which features have failed to locate. Is there an easy way to tell these features so that they may be corrected and rematched? This is frustrating for department users that are not sure which records they need to fix in their source tables. The matching score in desktop geocodes serves this purpose. Thanks for your help. Hello Cole, I have not been able to work on this in some time. Previously we were using the AGOL version of WAB without issues (it recognized the GP services and inputs). I recently changed jobs and will primarily be using the dev version for Portal so I will have to investigate this further and let you know if I encounter anything similar. Do you have additional details? I can't speak to anything beyond WAB and GP Service configuration as networks and firewall settings are outside my wheelhouse - which I am guessing may be an issue if it works on a local Portal but not through AGOL. Cole, THANK YOU! Yes it appears that this will accept file upload. Here is the example I used to set up the GP service for this widget: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=97e918061ad140dcbab68a38782b408b You can download materials here: http://www.arcgis.com/sharing/content/items/4fd83694cfde463c817a6eabff24bcff/data Configure this to whatever geoprocess function you wish after the file is uploaded. I will post more details next week. Running the tool: http://www.arcgis.com/home/item.html?id=97e918061ad140dcbab68a38782b408b

Hello Cole, This is great news. Thanks for the posting the update. I will have to look into it which may solve these issues - at least in the locally deployed developer edition.

I found the thread with the Leaflet web page option: Geocode CSV in JavaScript which includes a sample provided by Paul Crickard . All you need to do is point to your geocoding service then change the map extent (zoom level) and center x,y point. I also added attribution tags for Paul Crickard. Here is a comparison of the scripts between the template and one I set up for my org. You can see my edits here. https://www.diffchecker.com/gwxqopd1
