You know, the person I made the survey for was "eh, the pictures aren't even that important, we'll see if it becomes a problem". 😂 Super, glad I researched it for hours... But I do thank you for your update, I will keep that extension issue in mind if we come up against it again and see if that makes a difference in our org.

Aside from the issue we're trying to address here, I bet there are other reasons you may not want people to filter on a certain fields, whether it's a strain on your service or it's just not appropriate for that dataset/field.

We installed Survey123 on our Enterprise 11.3 deployment. Created a survey for staff which includes a couple questions asking for pictures. I have the file size in the question at the maximum of 20 MB but it won't allow me to actually upload anything bigger than 1 MB or so each (haven't tested the actual limit, but that's what I had to test with). Two 2.5 MB pics won't even go. So, is this a bug, or is there another configuration setting that we can use to allow larger attachments to match what the form says it can handle?

I have a similar question and am curious to hear more. (We also have VertiGIS!) My organization would like to implement the Citizen Reporter solution which can do some additional things if you have ArcGIS Hub Premium. (We do, have not fully utilized it yet.) We're a very ArcGIS Portal heavy organization and most of our licensing exists there for our various users so it would be nice if I didn't have to have duplicate Contributor licenses in ArcGIS Online so that the staff can edit the request status and such. Just trying to wrap my head around how that would work.

Did you find the magic answer on this? I'm experiencing the same thing in my file geodatabase.

Update! I was told by their staff it was now "user error" with no other information. 😂 Oh well...

Unfortunately I don't think it's either one of those, their ArcOnline account isn't brand new and they don't use 2-factor. The search continues, thanks for your reply though!

Our Emergency Management department has their own ArcOnline organization and I'm trying to help them troubleshoot. They're trying to connect to their organization in Survey123 Connect for the first time. I walked them through putting a new connection in the list but when they try to sign in they get a brief "waiting circle" and then a blank screen like it can't connect, but no error is given. When I try on my laptop the exact same way, I can get in just fine. Is there a security setting perhaps they can tweak on their machine? I know he doesn't have as many admin rights on his machine as I do on mine, so maybe there's something that's just a little too locked down? IDK, just trying to brainstorm ideas. Thanks!

Our County GIS shop supports our dispatch system with home-grown centerline/address data. We have a good data set but don't have any attributes that support basic routing like speed limits and turn information. Our fire chiefs would very much like me to provide this to our dispatch center and we're trying to figure out where to start. Our CAD vendor suggested Here data as a good source of that information. Is there anybody else out there that did this themselves? Did you buy data to get you started? How long did it take? (We have 45,000 centerline segments, a mix of rural and surburban, so nothing too crazy, but not nothing.)

Yep, I can update geometry and attributes, but it only seems to update the GPS fields on insert, not on an edit of an existing feature.

I have an existing point dataset that my colleagues want to use in Field Maps. I added all the necessary fields to collect GPS coordinates on them. Is there a way in Field Maps to fill new collected coordinates on an existing feauture? It's working on new features just fine. Is there a way to do it without having to copy to a new feature and delete the old?

This brings up another rub I have. From what I can tell, the only way you can disable a rule is if you're connected as the database owner. When people are editing, we're editing through a version, so the rules become read only since the database connection doesn't have schema permissions. (Not to mention schema locks, etc, etc). In ArcMap we used to be able to pause the rules for those tricky situations, and unless I'm missing something, I can't do it anymore.

I guess as a follow up though, we've chatted in the office and thought of situations where we're really going to be in a pickle and are going to have to get *real* creative to make it work similar to how the old attribute assistant used to work. The Ideas page is going to get some entries...

I just recreated some of my attribute rules from ArcMap to ArcPro and I'm noticing some differences. The one that's giving me the most heartburn right now is the "Editable" check box on the rule. I have a few rules that grab attribute values from other underlying feature classes so when you place an address point or move it, it grabs the Municipality and the Parcel ID. Works really well. But sometimes we need to manually override this value, because reasons, and even though I have the "Editable" check box on, it doesn't let me overwrite a new value by hand, it just flips it back to the original value. Is this because I have the "Update" check box on as well, so it thinks it has to run the rules again because I updated the record and you're caught in an impossible Catch-22? Didn't we used to have an option to update only when the shape changed? Because that's what I want to do. I only want to update certain values when they get created or moved, but not just becuase some of the other attributes changed. Is that possible somehow?
