Other than going in and recreating that field, it looks like we are out of luck for now. I have gone in to 34 surveys to remove the original multiline text fields and replace them with new ones (you have to go into the schema before you publish and change it to 1001 characters). Let's just say that hasn't been as fun as it sounds. There is a bug out of it, but it's still in the Under Consideration phase.

We only run this in the web designer. So, I don't think I can get to that. I did notice that even when I create a new Multiline field, it still limits me to 255 in the app, even though I double checked in the schema that it is set to 1000.

Hey Christopher, so the field is set up for 1000 characters and has been since I created the form. This is happening in all of our forms. Ive tried republishing quite a few of them. This happened after republishing them to version 3.23. Up until now, our field crews have been able to leave detailed comments.

We recently upgraded our surveys to 3.23. Before that, all of our Multiline text fields had a limit of 1000 characters. It appears to still be that way when filling out the survey through a web browser. However, the survey123 app is limiting us to 255 characters. This is the case with every survey we have. Again, that same survey allows the full 1000 characters when using a web browser. The surveys are all created with the web designer. Has anyone else come across this issue? We had a bug logged for this, but they combined it with an older, similar bug. But, this just started for us with this latest update to the survey.

There was an update pushed out a couple of nights ago that fixes this issue. So hopefully no more problems!

It's been logged as a bug now. BUG-000168671 Hopefully they will get it fixed soon. We are using the workaround for now, but with over 150 iPads out there, it's been a bit of a pain to get everyone's settings switched over.

I know this is an older post, but the latest version of Survey123 does not seem to be accepting heic file types. We can select the photos from the gallery, but it will not submit the form unless we change the image to a jpg.

We could use this as well. Offline choice list functionality seems to be available for Quick Capture. I hope that means that it will carry over into Survey123 soon, as well.

So you can see here, I click on a feature and anything with pop ups enabled comes up. As I go through them, it crashes the pop up. This only happens in Experience Builder.

Our pop-ups work as intended in Map Viewer and on Field Maps. Those same pop-ups close out when using them in Experience Builder. An example would be when we click on a water valve, the pop-ups include the valve, the water lines, etc. When the pop-up comes up, everything is fine. As soon as you attempt to go to the next pop-up, it shuts the window down. This only happens in Experience Builder. Those same pop-ups in other apps work just as intended. Has anyone else come across this and found a solution? Thanks!

Neither layer is very large. The only time we see the freezing happen is when we are trying to edit with any hosted feature layers turned on. This only happens in ArcMap. No issues in Pro. No issues on AGOL. I've even tried a definition query on the hosted feature layer, but no dice.

We are having an issue where we are editing a feature from our sde database, with a hosted feature layer turned on in the table of contents. The map freezes up whenever we do this. If I uncheck the hosted feature layer, everything works as normal. Our internet speeds are great (gigabit up/down). We need the hosted feature layer turned on, because our field crews share the map changes with us that way. I would make the edits in Pro, but I can't edit our geometric network in Pro. Has anyone experienced this? Thanks, Robb

We've run into this issue as well. We use multiple R2s as well as EOS Arrow devices. Both require a separate app. I can't tell you how many times users get logged out of one (not knowing). They don't understand why their accuracy is bad and just go on with their regular business with that bad accuracy. In the past month, I've had to go onsite 5 or 6 times to troubleshoot those 3rd party apps. Sometimes it's as simple as logging in, while other times it takes troubleshooting that the field crews would have never figured out. I'm getting increasingly sour with the entire process. It was so much easier with collector.

This just came up for us in Field Maps. We are able to set an attachment as required in Survey123. We would like to see the same functionality in Field Maps. We've made required yes/no question asking if they included a photo, but this doesn't force a photo to be taken.
