Heather, Any updates on the WorkForce/Field Maps integration timeline? Would really like to get going with the new and avoid the old, or migrating from the old. Also, there are many Solutions that seam to WorkForce. Will this also be part of the integration? To update the Solution to work with the new? I really don't rebuilding from scratch unless it is a complete necessity. Thanks in advance for your insight. 😊

Hey, Just worked with an Esri Tech yesterday to resolve the padlock vs the trash can icon. Long story short, currently the only resolution is to export the layer as an FGDB, and then republish it. This means the existing locked layer has to be removed from any maps, and any joins, views, etc. will have to be recreated with the new published layer. Luckily for us, I have only found a few layers that this functionality was locked, but we have scores of maps we are going to need to review. Best of luck in your endeavors.

Greetings @Tiff Spent quite a few hours with Esri support trying to manipulate a config that would allow the search to work but it never provided any beneficial results. That has been a year ago and have not tried to resurrect the request or work with the issue. Our workaround, for the need at hand was to use the coordinates of the feature we were searching for to auto-generate a location of the new feature we were creating. In our case we had a Public Water System and needed to start a project at that system, so we set location to grab the PWS coordinates along with the system name, id, and contact information from the PWS feature, thus alleviation of searching for it via lat/long and also provide identical information so nothing was entered wrong on the user end. Also to note and provide kudos, there was some Ismael magic that occurred to make this happen. Sorry, probably not any help but at least you did remind me that the search function was something necessary. Thanks for that. Another rabbit hole to be revisited I am sure.

Yep, Style collection is the groups in the Catalog Pane. And your reply is the exact answer I needed. Never dawned on me that I could copy more than one to the new style. Game changer. Here is a related question but a little off topic. What if I wanted to add another style to the published style group. Is there a way to overwrite and existing published style or is it just create a new with the added plus old and run with it?

Thank you Rhett. This is making the difference. Bummer there is not a way to just publish a style collection but only 50 some to go. 😞

So Russ, Probably missing a step following the guidance blogs. I have several styles in saved as Favorites in a Pro project. These are the styles I want to have in the AGOL for use in the Map Viewer. In Pro, in Catalog view, there is not an option to Share As Web Style. The symbols were created/configured very similar to your blog guidance, then saved to favorites.

Awesome Russ, I believe this is the exact guidance we will need. We will run some tests and if we can make it work as you have provided we will mark this as the solution. I appreciate your rapid response to the questions.

Is there a way to add the Esri Web Stylx files loaded to the ArcGIS Pro Styles folder into the symbology selector in the Map Viewer? For use across the org? There are many good styles that are available in the Pro/Portal/ArcGIS Online that would be awesome to utilize in the Map Viewer without having to create a .png from the style and upload to the symbology selector each time you want to use it.

Tested this on two different maps with multiple buttons in each popup linked to S123 Connect forms. Works like a champ. Thanks for providing this guidance Ismael. 🙂

Greetings, I am sure I have seen some guidance on this but cannot locate via search. We have a survey built in Connect. The survey has the geopoint question. Two fields in the survey are auto-populated from an entirely different feature using this workflow: Announcing a handy tool to generate Survey123 URLs - Esri Community When the button is selected it opens the associated S123 form and two of the survey fields (questions) are populated with data from the other feature. We want the geopoint to also grab the location of the same feature that auto-populates the other questions. Maybe a pulldata in the calc field?? Can some one please point us towards any guidance or provide some insight? Can submit a support case but was hoping that we can find the answer or close to answer in the community somewhere. Any takers??? 🙂
