Hi Katherine! it is from a public accessible county GIS and was created by someone else. I thought about the Developer but decided I would see if it was just something that was an add-in widget for the WAB that I could not find. If you run across any example coding, let me know. I am looking in Stack Exchange, but obviously not typing the verbiage correctly to receive right answers to the question. Thanks

Greetings! I have been noticing that several mapping applications have tabs with various functions across the top of the mapping app. Is this a function that's available for the Web App Builder? I have epically failed to find any specific guidance. Image attached shows tabs across the top of the web app.

Hi Kelly! I have bunches of content (feature layers) with attachments that will need to be moved to the other organization at some point in time. Exporting to FGDB and then republishing seems to do the trick, all images/attachments including the domain drop-down menus publish correctly, so far anyhow. For what I need, this is probably the best workflow until something is added to AGOL that will allow the full feature layer to be moved. Thanks for your input!!

Hi Katherine! Thanks so much for your recommendations. I tried the export to GeoJSON from the feature service export function; it exported to the other organization without the attachment field. Then I used the Admin Tools for ArcGIS and had no luck. It delivered an error that unfortunately was just a little "Greek" to me. I then tried your recommendation of the "ago-assistant". It worked well, provided the attachment field with the capabilities of adding photos. The bad is that I already had several images attached to the features and they failed to copy over. Any suggestions????

The workaround; Add a new field and enter a new ID based on the direction that the series (polygons) will flow. Not bad for a few sheets but it does add extra time to the process. If anyone finds the right answer please let me know.

When I create rectangles along a line using "generate rectangles along line" tool in Pro 2.2.4 the rectangles ID field does not start at the end of the polyline. Is there a setting to force the rectangles to follow the line? I have tried altering the "lower left, lower right, etc." with the same results. My ID #1 starts at a point in the line, ID # 8 & 9, at a different point in the line. They do seem to reflect my last edits to the polyline alignments. Any ideas?

Hi Kelly! So, I would assume we have not. Our organization was set up with the purchase of two Desktop Advanced licenses, a few years back. Thank you for the guidance. I will get with our rep and start the transition to the new structure. Love GeoNet. Great response, always.

Thanks so much Kelly! Your answers help. Your last paragraph; How would I change the creator to GIS professional Advanced? I tried to change the user type for both users in my organization and it is not allowed. Mine are grey-out and my co-worker's will open but cannot edit. I can change the role for my co-worker but not for me. I refreshed the browser just in case and nothing changes. Am I trying to do this in the wrong place or do my permissions stop me somehow? There is no rush on this but we are about to make multiple changes in our organization concerning mapping and I would like to not have to scramble when we start adding users. Thanks again!

So, the roll out appears to have happened today, 12/6/18 for the change in AGOL user types. I am the administrator and was a level 2, and am now a creator. Is it possible to change my user type to the GIS Professional? Is there any benefit to doing so? Does being a creator limit my ability to perform all of the functions as a administrator? Does being a creator limit my access to any functions/apps/etc. that are available for my license type, Desktop Advanced w/most extensions? Should I be considering changing how I currently access ArcGIS Pro? Sorry, Lots of questions but have not really found any specific guidance on how to make all of the transitions in the AGOL changes. Any help/assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks Margaret! I have spent the last few hours following the guidelines in Pro Help on CAD as referenced by Dan. You are correct in saying that the survey grade data becomes "jacked up" for the lengths, etc. Nothing I rendered was acceptable for the infrastructure mapping. I believe at this time my best option is to utilize the projection file creation process as per your publication guidance. I am doing my best not to revert back to Desktop but seem to be going that direction quite often. Pro is great. Love the interface with AGOL, but can be frustrating when going back and forth just to move a project along. Sigh...….. Lots to learn.

Hi Dan. So I have re-read all of the guidance from the link you supplied. I missed some of the steps when I first reviewed. I am going to give it a whirl and see what happens. Thanks.

Thanks for the information Dan. Unfortunately world file is not the answer. Engineers/Surveyors in this area are notorious for developing ACAD mapping for water/wastewater infrastructure that has no known coordinate system. They use their own x,y,z. Often they do not even use the same coordinates for similar projects in the same area and seldom will the data land on a map anywhere. As you can see from the inserted image below the ACAD is scaled and projected way out of the world mapping area which is depicted at the lower left corner. Margaret developed a process that will align the data with any known projected data and create a projection file that can be saved in coordinate favorites and used for all engineering mapping that utilize the same x,y information when developing their drawings. Like I mentioned above, I can do this in ArcGIS for Desktop but have failed to find a procedure that will work in Pro. In Desktop it takes several attempts of scaling and aligning and never ends up perfect but is more than sufficient for mapping infrastructure.

Is there any guidance on creating a projection file for ACAD polylines (dwg) for ArcGIS Pro 2.2? I can use Desktop 6.1 but sure would like to use Pro as I am trying to convert, best as possible.
