Also not happening on our iOS devices using the new Collector. Hoping the issue silently goes away when the beta evolves to the real deal. And soon would be better. Any ideas ESRI when the beta will turn?

I guess my biggest concern, well over being restricted in field use, is that it is not a consistent error and cannot be re-created for analysis. I have no idea what could be causing this in the geodatabase. I believe that it stems from some Collector vs. OS issue more than anything else. We have another error when downloading maps in Collector Classic for Android. ESRI has that case but have never found any corrections. We started downloading smaller area maps with far less detail and have not had the issue re-occur since. Still waiting on the new Android Collector to get out of beta status so we can utilize the functionality of the offline map areas, but I digress as that is another story. Good luck Jimmy!

We have just experienced the same issue. I checked the fields and domains in Pro by opening the AGOL web map that contains the features being collected. Nulls are allowed and this is the typical setting when creating the features in Pro then uploading as a hosted feature. The online table has the value "empty" that is the default if nothing is selected in the field from the associated initial domain values. The online field details look like this;

Greetings! Has anyone had any issues with failures to download maps in Collector using Android devices. I have tested the same maps using the devices with new Collector for iOS and also the Classic Collector for Android and have not has any issues with the downloading for disconnected editing. I also downloaded the Beta version of Collector on the Samsung tablet and it still wont download the maps. In fact, my device fails to show any buttons or widgets for download or attaching images. Here is an image of the error I keep getting in Classic on the Samsung when attempting the download workflow.

In Pro, right-clicked on feature, selected configure popups, added the link to a new field. Just reviewed my workflow and it appears I deleted the existing fields from the popup before I added the text field for the link. I reset everything and now it works like it should. Is it still Monday??? 🙂 Still need to set the configuration to populate the field in Survey.

Thanks Katherine! Good information. This will be a great help. I do desire to have all features have the same link as my Form is specific to the feature type. I configured popups to have the link in Pro but lost all of my other fields/attributes in the popup so that was not what I wanted. The web map app will also need the link in each feature popup along with the auto-populating of the Asset_ID field just to make sure the field personnel do not use the wrong asset identifier. Wish I had more time to play with all of the fun ESRI stuff but have to have results in a timely manner, thus,....... I bug the experts!! 🙂

Thanks Joe! I did come across the "Open Survey 123 from Collector" but not the other one. I will do some research and see what transpires. As with most ESRI functions there are multiple ways to accomplish a task or workflow. Just need to get a handle on what is easiest for me to remember. I'll update as I move forward.

Greetings! I know this question has been asked on several occasions but the search is exhausting as I am obviously not typing in exactly what I should to find the correct response/guidance. I have feature layers; i.e. manholes, etc. that I would like the Collector users to be able to just click on the link in a field an take them directly to the form for inspections/maintenance. The same field would be visible in the AGOL web mapping application. I thought about just creating the field in Pro and then have the field calculated to just be the URL. Is there a better way using Arcade? Python? Just as a heads up, not much of a scripting guru as of yet. Also do it in Pro or just publish and do it in AGOL? Thanks in advance for steering to the right answer. 🙂

Interesting. Never thought about doing it with Story Maps. I will have to give it a go!! Way better than writing and managing a bunch of code! Thanks Aaron!

Hi Katherine! it is from a public accessible county GIS and was created by someone else. I thought about the Developer but decided I would see if it was just something that was an add-in widget for the WAB that I could not find. If you run across any example coding, let me know. I am looking in Stack Exchange, but obviously not typing the verbiage correctly to receive right answers to the question. Thanks

Greetings! I have been noticing that several mapping applications have tabs with various functions across the top of the mapping app. Is this a function that's available for the Web App Builder? I have epically failed to find any specific guidance. Image attached shows tabs across the top of the web app.

Hi Kelly! I have bunches of content (feature layers) with attachments that will need to be moved to the other organization at some point in time. Exporting to FGDB and then republishing seems to do the trick, all images/attachments including the domain drop-down menus publish correctly, so far anyhow. For what I need, this is probably the best workflow until something is added to AGOL that will allow the full feature layer to be moved. Thanks for your input!!

Hi Katherine! Thanks so much for your recommendations. I tried the export to GeoJSON from the feature service export function; it exported to the other organization without the attachment field. Then I used the Admin Tools for ArcGIS and had no luck. It delivered an error that unfortunately was just a little "Greek" to me. I then tried your recommendation of the "ago-assistant". It worked well, provided the attachment field with the capabilities of adding photos. The bad is that I already had several images attached to the features and they failed to copy over. Any suggestions????
