Hi all, Recently I published my first infrastructure viewer for use in my company. We have an enterprise setup and I used a webmap and webapp builder to create the viewer app. Everything is working fine with users on desktop and mobile, except for Galaxy S8 Chrome users. I am instead left without touch controls (pinch to zoom, touch and drag to navigate). I have reproduced the issue on 3 work phones, all S8 on Android 9 and several different versions of Chrome. Works after downloading Firefox on the phones, and it works on Apple/Safari. I believe it is similar to past issues with esri/Chrome: https://community.esri.com/thread/219624-touch-screen-doesn-t-respond-with-javascript-api-325 Any insight into this issue would be much appreciated, thank you.

Hi all, I have been trying to move over to Pro more often, but there have been quite a few issues holding me back. This question pertains to my issues with inserting images (PNG/JPG) onto an ArcPro map layout. For some water main design work, I wanted to show a rudimentary profile on the layout for a better visual. I am able to have this work as normal if I import the layout file from the project on the network drive to ArcPro 2.3.3 on my local machine as shown in "ArcPro working images". I am unable to insert these same images if I am using my virtual desktop workstation that has ArcPro 2.3.2 along with my enterprise GIS data. I have tried moving the images to different locations (local/server based), re-exporting them as different file types, nothing seems to work. There are also not many options once you get an image onto the layout to troubleshoot, it is just invisible but selectable as shown on "Arc Pro non working images" This image issue, along with my inability to export PDFs on my virtual setup (something I do dozens of times with each of my water main designs in ArcMap as I work, ) is really holding me back from using ArcPro. These are both things that work when I import the layout file and test it on my local version of Pro (*note* 2.3.3 AND no enterprise GIS layers) Any ideas or personal experiences would be appreciated, thanks.

Thank you for solving this issue, lowered the font size, instant loading maps. I will add that my device is a Galaxy Tab E, and has a lower resolution so there are less options on screen zoom I believe, but leaving it at the smallest level works for me. Again, thanks for the solution. I have 6 tablets and this one hasn't worked for 6 months...until now Cheers!

I want to second this. I have 6 Galaxy Tab E's running Collector that are in field use. One of them is having this issue, all the others are working. I recently updated them all to 7.1.1. The same map loads instantly in Explorer on the same tablet. It's a simple layer of hydrants we use to check off for hydrant shoveling, so just one shape file. I tried signing out and trying free maps, no dice. I uninstalled, cleared caches/data etc.

We have 17 maps and counting for our work group. In Explorer, the folders mimic the work groups ArcGIS Online folders, this would be really helpful/QoL for our guys in the field to help navigate to their respective maps especially as we add more and more.

Good morning, this is sort of a version 2 of a problem we had a few months ago with the Android version of the Collector App: Found Here. To sum it up simply, when we go to edit a point like a hydrant, one or a few fields with info already in them (all domains by the way) are cleared. In the example, "Open Direction" is cleared when entering an editing session. Sometimes things like "Ownership" are cleared also. The bug from a few months ago was app-breaking, luckily this one isn't. I've replicated this on our Android tablets and on my Android phone, we had no problems on Apple Devices and in ArcGIS Online. The last bug was also Android only. Thanks!

https://community.esri.com/community/gis/applications/collector-for-arcgis/blog/2017/01/13/collector-for-arcgis-1041-android-released Looks like its the update. Makes total sense to me too as we haven't needed the app yet since the update (I updated 6 devices last Friday)

Hi all, After the recent Collector update the maps we use to collect info on such things as hydrant maintenance and shoveling have been severely compromised. For example, our hydrant shoveling map has three statuses: Awaiting shoveling, shoveled, and requires repairs. These denote 3 colors to make it easier for our crew to see whats been done in real time. It has been working great for us. This morning I've found out that while editing and selecting a status that contains the 3 domain options that change the icons/colors proceeds to clear the rest of the fields we have for the hydrant (Street/Town/Make etc)...I've tried it on other maps (different uses/geodatabases/layers) and the same thing is occurring. This does not occur while editing in the browser on ArcGIS Online or ArcMap Desktop, but does occur on the Collector app on our tablets and smartphones. Is there some sort of fix or do I have to roll back the update? Thanks!

SPrindle-esristaff, is anything being looked at for these options? Just curious because being able to disable the keyboard for the domain fields would be helpful to me since it seems to really clog up the screens on our tablets. For example we basically have three options for our inspected hydrants: Awaiting, Needs Repairs, or Passed. Each of these denotes colors so we can know which hydrants have been done. For my crew it kind of just adds a layer of complexity/irritation since most don't have much experience using tablets or apps. I have even had issues when I tap into the edit field to bring up the pop up for the domain field and the keyboard overtakes it and I can't even retouch the field to bring back up the pop up menu because the keyboard is over it. (I have to back out of the keyboard, back out of the edit and go back in again). The tablets seem to only allow landscape mode in collector and they have a lower resolution, making the keyboard bigger and taking up more room in the screen. My phone, has higher resolution even at a smaller size but uses portrait mode and it doesn't seem to be nearly as bad. Thanks for any insight.
