I believe we had the map set up that way because it was carried over from the LGIM schema. We also had a SQL script running to create a view, which highlighted the lines with related records. If a line didn’t have a related record, it wouldn’t appear—so we had to add the parent layer underneath to ensure everything was visible. We now have an attribute rule to push the most recent related record date onto the parent layer so we can just symbolize off of that (since we no longer can do direct SQL views on UN).

Go have a look at the other thread I linked up top. Tech support discovered that duplicate layers are causing the issue too. I wonder if the aggregation creates a temporary duplicate layer or something. Anyway, I had to remove any duplicated layers in my map and its working now.

I worked with ESRI tech support, and they discovered that having any duplicate layers in the map would cause the error. They have a bug created now: We have created a bug: BUG-000179924 - Attempting to edit a feature with related records in a web map that contains duplicate Utility Network layers throws "Unable to Submit 'The operation couldn't be completed.(ArcGIS.ArcGISError error 1.)'" error in ArcGIS Field Maps version 25.2.0, which you will be able to view and track in My Esri. Please see this document for the details on how to keep track of the request: https://support.esri.com/en-us/bug-enhancement-request-status

Luckily for me it's a Friday, so I only have a few field crews out that this is affecting. Monday will be a different story though. 😬

Hi Grant, There's a few of us having the same/similar issue, see this thread: https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-field-maps-questions/error-submitting-after-field-maps-25-2-0-update/m-p/1654954#M11477

I ended up submitting a tech support ticket like tbearb did, and I have an ESRI rep helping me out. Do you have attribute rules running on the layer that's throwing the errors? And is it a Utility Network layer? I have a non UN layer that has no attribute rules and lives on a separate Enterprise GDB (running on the same SQL server as my UN GDB) that I was able to submit related records for with no errors.

We have a similar setup: Getting the same error: 10/3/25, 7:12:41 AM [EDITING] stopEditing failed with error: ArcGISError(code: 1019, description: "SQLite constraint violation.", details: "SQLite: 19\nAbort due to constraint violation")

Good idea, I submitted a ticket too. I got the field crews all lined out on how to make it work, but I hope this gets fixed soon because I can see it getting really messy with extra/unintended records being submitted.

Just tried on my phone which hasn't updated to the new version and it submitted and worked fine. It's definitely the new Field Maps version causing the issue.

Yep, we're getting the same error. The weird thing is that the records are actually submitting and the attribute rules seem to be populating, but it's not visible on the map until we close it and reload it, then it appears. It's upon submission of a related table entry, and it's the same code that you're getting: ArcGIS.ArcGISError 1 UN version 7, 11.5 -- was working fine until today with the update.

I'm running into this problem now as well. Luckily, we're in the testing phase of using a spatial layer joined to a table that was imported from MSAccess. It's still very cumbersome to have to delete the view, then recreate it, and trying to remember all of the symbology/labels/pop-ups. It should be as simple as updating a domain on the joined table, then clicking 'Update View'.

Hi Trish! We recently moved to cloud based Springbrook, we're using enterprise 7.18 and cirrus side-by-side. Doing a bit of research I found that there is a REST api available, but they're locked behind the admin tools in springbrook. I plan on speaking with our IT dept to see if we can get access to that api. I'll let you know if I find anything out.

@Marc_Patti -- totally understand the asap part. It's hard to get GIS "buy-in" sometimes because if they're locked out like that, and I can't unlock it quickly, they'll end up doing what they need to do using another method (**gasp** CAD drawings or paper maps). The next time they might not even try using the GIS apps.

Ok, adding the ability to raise/lower the attempts and lockout duration is nice, but I need an "Unlock User ID" option. Our cellular internet coverage is spotty, and add to that the fact field maps doesn't have a "show password" option. We have users quite regularly lock themselves out and 15minutes is just way too long.

Just figured out this can be done in an instant app, which is what I ended up doing...using the same base webmap that is operating in my exp builder. You can set a custom parameter, and carry it over from your third party software. At that point you can dig into the search settings and adjust the behavior further: In this case I just added '&taxlot=[number passed in from other software]' to the end of my link.
