Hi Matt, That should not be a problem as long as your web adaptors are on separate servers and your config-store is on a separate file server.

I'm not sure if this will prevent this issue but we use a weekly maintenance window to compress our protected DEFAULT version to state zero. This requires the editors to reconcile and post before the maintenance kicks off. All versions are deleted that night. Versions needed for applications are recreated with a batch file of sde commands after compression to state zero. The desktop editors create a fresh private version when they begin work the following morning. The same maintenance workflow is required for service packs, upgrades, etc.This has helped maintain the best performance and reduce strange errors like orphaned records.

Referring to the folders in ArcGIS Server Manager 10.2, unfortunately there is no way to move the services between these folders. The services will have to be republished to the desired folder.

Allow support for virtual / computed fields in Oracle/SQL Server versioned geodatabases. This could allow the GIS user to symbolize from old to no with graduated symbols based on date fields. The GIS user should be able to calculate the date field as an epoch date to be used for symbols color ramp and the GIS user should not need DBA security to modify a central geodatabase schema. And, still allow versioned editing, compression to state zero, etc. as usual.

If your data has true curves, the geometry will be returned as a densified version of the true curve. If you enable this option, it will allow densified features to be applied in place of the true curve. If you disable this option, attempting to edit the true curve geometry will return an error.

The change version tool should allow the ArcSDE/geodatabase admin to create a new version on be-half of another user. This would ease the process of going to state zero while in an off hour maintenance window. The editors should not need to know anything about creating and deleting versions - only the save, reconcile and post loop. As long as the editors know to save, reconcile and post before the maintenance window we could even have a short python script do the delete versions and create versions on the editors behalf. Also, applications such as ArcGIS Server services that reference named versions could be managed in the same way.

Just pull the values you are already collecting from the GPS on the status page and include them in each record. Status PDOP/HDOP Satellites Fix Type Latitude Longitude Elevation Date/Time(UTC) Bearing (degrees) Speed (km/h) can this be changed to miles/hour?
