Both of your error logs are showing the cause of the installation error - found compatible runtime version 4.0.30319 - which isn't compatible with Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS. Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS requires .NET Framework v4.5 and this references a previous version. We've seen numerous cases where installation errors occur because of incompatible .NET Framework v4x are found although .NET Framework 4.5 is listed in Programs. Here are couple of ways to detect actual version of .NET Framework versions installed. Run .NET Version Detector tool on machine returning installation error for Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS. Scroll to bottom of 'blue' section to see list of installed .NET Frameworks, my Win7 64-bit OS laptop has versions: .NET FW 1.1 SP 1 .NET FW 2.0 SP 2 .NET FW 3.0 SP 2 .NET FW 3.5 SP 1 .NET FW 4.5 Client .NET FW 4.5 Full Does your machine return .NET FW 4.5 Client and/or .NET FW 4.5 Full? Next, open Registry Editor on machine returning installation error for Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\NET Framework Setup\NDP\v4\Full subkey Check for a DWORD value named Release . The existence of this DWORD indicates that the .NET Framework 4.5 has been installed on that computer. The value of Release is a version number. To determine if the final release version of the .NET Framework 4.5 is installed, check for a value that is equal to or greater than 378389 . If neither of these suggestions help you resolve the installation errors for the Operations Dashboard for ArcGIS app, please log Support incident with Esri Support via My Support portal. Cheers, Denise

Carma, You might be running into a known issue where portal credentials are being cached in Mobile Project Center. It's logged as NIM089305 and is resolved in next ArcGIS for Windows Mobile update. Until the ArcGIS for Windows Mobile 10.2 release is available to mobile users, we suggest following workaround: · exit MPC, launch MPC > File > New · File > Settings > Content Sharing > ArcGIS Portal · format URL as https://ess.maps.arcgis.com/sharing If workaround above doesn't resolve the issue, please log support interaction with Esri Support so you can continue troubleshooting this challenge with mobile support specialist. Regards, Denise

James, Please look at the ArcPad Login Form sample described on ArcPad Team Blog, it's VBScript not JScript but should be enough information in sample applet to get you going with JScript. The ArcPad Login Form sample can be downloaded from ArcScripts at: http://arcscripts.esri.com/details.asp?dbid=16477. ArcPad Forums is another resource to get assistance with scripting from other ArcPad users. Good Luck, Denise

Jared, You are correct, ArcPad 10.0x doesn't directly support the '.IMG' raster file format. Please review ArcPad Help docs for complete information on supported raster and image formats and how to choose most appropriate raster format for your ArcPad project. The ArcPad Team Blog is a great resource for raster tips & other helpful information: Raster Tips #1, Raster Tips #2. You should be able to export the .IMG file to .TIFF format for using in ArcPad via ArcPad Data Manager toolbar. Regards, Denise

Vish, ArcGIS Mobile SDK requires the .NET compact framework 3.5 or higher; you should use Visual Studio 2008 to develop custom applications to run with Windows Mobile SDK as there are no Mobile SDK tools available for Visual Studio 2010. For more information review the ArcGIS Runtime for Windows Mobile Help documentation found here, http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/windows-mobile-sdk/concepts/#/Frequently_asked_questions/01sp00000006000000/. Look at the Incrementing ID's sample on ArcGIS Resource Center as described in ArcPad Team Blog, http://arcpadteam.blogspot.com/2012/09/user-requested-sample-incrementing-ids.html. I believe the functionality you desire can be obtained by adjusting the sample to your data and workflow. Cheers, Denise

Douglas, Can you share the data schema with Support for additional troubleshooting? Does your point feature class contain many fields, domains and/or subtypes? Did you checkout to shapefile or AXF format? Is data stored to main memory or SD card? Are any other programs running in the background? Does your ArcPad Today plugin contain any ArcPad App shortcuts? What ArcPad Extensions are turned on? Is the Mesa and Archer (Archer or Archer w/XF101) devices running latest available WinMo OS and GPS Firmware updates? As you can see, there are many possible factors to low memory on Windows Mobile OS devices so if you're current in ArcPad maintenance, please contact Esri Support to submit a support interaction to work with ArcPad specialist to help you resolve this issue. Please let your analyst know to contact Denise King, Mobile DTL for ArcPad 10.0.4 memory tests to help in troubleshooting this behavior. Regards, Denise

Stephanie, Some great resources for Trimble Positions software are the Trimble Positions Blog, GeoMattix Blog and Electronic Data Solutions Training options for Trimble Positions for ArcPadhttp://www.elecdata.com/training/gps/introarcpadga.html/ArcGIS Mobilehttp://www.elecdata.com/training/gps/trimblepositions.html from Esri Partner, Electronic Data Solutions (EDS). GeoMattix has videos demonstrating how to perform a 'Fake Check-out for ArcPad and Trimble Positions' or alternative option is using 'The Backup AXF File' to undo all of the post-processing done to your ArcPad data (basically tricking ArcPad). Good luck, Denise
