FYI: we are working to add a configuration option to Reporter in the summer release of AGOL that will allow you to specify a field and sort the listed reports in ascending or descending order using the values in that field.

I see what you mean, now, and that is very strange... Could you contact support about this? Unless you've got a time machine, editor tracking fields shouldn't have dates from '69!

Thanks for the explanation! Using this app internally I can see how that would help. I'd added your suggestion to our development baacklog. In the meantime, you might be able to configure the search widget to help your workers out. The search is actually configured from the Details page of the map, and can be set to search specific fields for values.

monzay You are right - It should work if you access the application by clicking the ArcGIS button (but not if you enter credentials and then click Guest) This functionality requires that your app also be configured to store the username on each feature that you create. Can you confirm that you have configured this parameter on the Access tab of the config panel, and that your layer has a field of this name (case sensitive)? If the parameter is configured, can you look at the data and confirm that your username is being populated in that field for each of the features you have created?

emily.lee@rivcoit The Creation Date/Creator fields and the Edit Date/Editor fields exist because editor tracking is enabled on the layer. Editor tracking uses these fields to store when/who created each feature, and when/who that feature was lasted edited/modified. Note that the 'who' component of these fields only works in Reporter when the app is accessed using ArcGIS credentials, not Guest or Social Media accounts. The Date Submitted field looks like it is part of your dataset. You can choose to hide any of these fields from the reports and/or comments layers by turning them off in the popup configuration for the feature or table layer. If you'd like to disable editor tracking, there is an option for that on the layer's Details page.

Chelsea Rozek This is an interesting idea. We've been thinking about how to handle sharing the app. I added a note that this should specifically include share a specific view into the app - a particular report, layer list, etc. Add method for sharing app · Issue #157 · Esri/crowdsource-reporter · GitHub

emily.lee@rivcoit The splash screen image shouldn't resize to fit the screen. This allows you to set the title and sign in option over a specific place on the image with minimal shift between different smartphone, table and monitor screen sizes. If you want it to cover the full screen of a desktop, you will need to use a fairly large image and only the center portion will be visible on smaller screens. Keep in mind that the larger the image, the slower the app will load.

mark.cooper_SDC Crowdsource Polling requires an editable layer with a related table. We are thinking about how to support post-comment period workflows, but for now I suggest unsharing your Polling app and re-sharing your map using an application that is focused on sharing rather than editing work. Basic Viewer or one of the Storymaps might suit this purpose well.

Another possible solution: your portal might be using a custom group to populate those galleries of templates. Your portal administrator can check this by going to your portal settings >groups and checking which group is being used for configurable templates.

kevin.cross I know Manager is typically used internally, but could you make it public and share the URL with me? If you don't want to post it here, please email it to me at amuise at esri dot com. You could also contact Esri support services and they can screen share with you to troubleshoot. I'm sure it something small but troubleshooting a spinning app can be a lot easier when you can see what you're troubleshooting
