Try C:\Users\your name\AppData\Local\Esri\ In that folder it typically holds all your "logs" inside the Folder "ArcGIS Mobile" or "MobileProjectCenter" or "ErrorReports".

You don't need the amp file anymore......Just add the cache to your Project in ProjectCenter and add a basemap directly into the project. It then creates a "complete" folder for you to deploy. Much easier in now than earlier versions.

You could try searching this Forum or the ESRI tutorials first. But the main difference is: Windows Mobile (the phone App)
Have to have a server for editing layers and it's online.
ArcGIS Mobile
Can work with a server. Can work with just a Desktop Can work OFFline and ONline
You can also find more INFO in these threads: http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/44230-ArcGIS-Mobile-on-WP7.5?p=151679#post151679 http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/56503-Which-mobile-solution-to-use-(kinda-vague-I-know...)?p=195941#post195941

You'll need to "add" the cache into a ProjectCenter project first...perhaps "add" some basemaps....perhaps change some settings.....save it as a project and THEN deploy it to your mobile device.

You CAN use your cache as basemaps for Mobile....We are doing that (but only in up to 25x30km if Ortho 10/20 cm resolution, otherwise it's very big for a tablet or Juno) So our "server guy" makes the cache on the same way as for the ImageServer but for smaller areas.

It looks like some issues with your DNS. Can you see your server and services on the "outside" ? And the "basemaps" you mention are they on the inside or outside ?

Hi aelliso and thanks, but...... It doesn't look like my problem.....I'm not using the Mobile with a server, but are moving the packages/project directly from ArcMap to ProjectCenter to Mobile Tablet with a USB-drive. And my problem are ONLY on polygons-layer.....NOT with polylines or points and EVERYTHING work fine in all other versions except the 10.1.1 So for me it looks like a bug with subtypes/domains when 10.1.1 tries to "call this function" in polygons....because it works if i change the FC back to "standard FCSubtype" without any subtypes (but I can still choice the subtypes under the attributes, so it's only when I use subtypes as "display/symbology" for an easier user GUI in Mobile the problem occurs).

If it's about getting WIN 8 on a tablet to "see" your GPS, mostly external GPS, you should try FRANSON GPS GATE. We use this software (free) on our Samsung SLATE Tablets and it works just splendid....but without it....no GPS connection.

Have you upgraded the Trimble GPS software on it after you received the JUNO ? And If...also ALL of depending software according to Trimble's website.....if you have not done that, then your NOT able to connect to the GPS. http://www.trimble.com/junosb_ts.asp?Nav=Collection-60297 And your GPS is running NMEA output or ? Can you see your GPS in the GPS Controller? (under Options in the Controller you can connect/disconnect to the GPS). This is from Trimble's website FAQ: Can I link pictures to GIS features that I am capturing? Yes. You can use the TerraSync software to control the taking of still photographs. Any photographs initiated from within the TerraSync software are automatically associated with the current GIS feature and are moved to the folder in which your TerraSync data is stored. This file association is preserved during data download and export using the GPS Pathfinder Office software. Are the pictures time-, date-, and position-stamped? If you use the camera button to take a picture, it will be time- and date-stamped using the Juno series handheld??s internal clock. Pictures taken using this method do not have an associated GPS position. However if you take a picture using the TerraSync software, not only is the picture time- and datestamped, but the TerraSync software also writes the current GPS position to the picture??s EXIF header. www.trimble.com Page 13 This means the picture can always be identified in space and time, even if it is subsequently separated from the GIS data you were collecting at the time the picture was taken
